Last season, I was consuming basketball 7 days a week and I loved every second of it. Fortunately, I needed the reminder that basketball doesn’t define me. Due to budget cuts, SIU WBB removed their Graduate Assistants this upcoming season. For this school year, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be managing and growing our SIU African American Heritage Center. The Goal: Inspire and grow awareness about our unique African American heritage in Southern Illinois. I’ve also had the notion to speak more to undergraduate students about pursuing their Masters.
