During the course of a volleyball season, it is a blessing as a coach to share so many life experiences with your players. From the moment I got married I knew how I wanted to share this news with my team if I happened to get pregnant during the season. Their reaction did not disappoint🫶 Thank you for always celebrating life with me 17 Blaze!

Everyone's journey is different. Different injuries call for different surgical procedures which call for different wait times. Personally, I have to wait 6wks post-op to begin bearing weight. While I am growing strength and a little muscle back in my right leg, the lack of day to day use has caused major atrophy.🦵 I am about 6 weeks post-injury (3 pre-surgery, 3 post). Every day has new challenges and this is not the hardest in the slightest but I do think it is one that isn't talked about enough.

Power League 1!
2nd in Gold! U10 division
These girls fought so hard this weekend! Going 2-1 in games and 4-3 in sets, they learned some good lessons.
They fought, for the first time, the mental battles of what it means to lose a game and still be proud of themselves and their teammates.
Being an hour behind schedule, they had a long day! They woke up at 5am and didn’t finish their last match until 2:30. I am so proud of their hard work!

Highlights💜
🔥 Took their first set to 29-27 and won!
🔥 Took their first game to 3 sets but dominated in the third winning it 15-5
🔥 Came out confident in their second game and didn’t drop a set💪🏼
🔥 Came back fighting after a tough first set loss in the finals match taken in Power League by @coachcelia.vb
