He really thought he was safe… 😂🤫
What he didn’t know was that the team had something special planned for him! We pulled off the surprise, and the reaction was PRICELESS! 🎂🎈

This is what the standard looks like.
It’s not just talent, it’s discipline, consistency, and accountability when nobody’s watching.
Two players. One message: it works.
Proud of you both. More on the way.#BR taken in Braden River High School by @coachdavex

I could write a book about this young man!
From the very first day he stepped foot on our campus, I knew he was different. The work ethic. The discipline. The drive to be great it’s out of this world. I was fortunate enough to be a part of his journey from the beginning, and watching his growth has been one of the greatest blessings of my coaching career.
I call him a soldier. No matter how tough the moment or how heavy the situation, he always finds a way to stay balanced, stay composed, and lead. That’s why he’s El Capitán. A true floor general. A true leader.
Every day we learned together on the court and off. And without even realizing it, he inspired the next generation of point guards in our area. His impact goes far beyond the stat sheet.
1,000 Point Club. Forever legendary.
But what makes me most proud isn’t just the buckets it’s the character. The resilience. The heart.
Keep that drive. Keep that hunger. Never forget why you started playing this game in the first place.
Love you, kid. Forever proud. 💯 by @coachdavex
