I coach to make an impact

To help someone achieve their dream

To help someone realise they are not their limiting beliefs

To help someone be strong enough to make it through another day

store number #31

Opportunities like this don’t come around often, and being part of something that aligns so deeply with the values I live by is pretty surreal

Feeling very grateful and very aware that moments like this are the kind you don’t take for granted

I couldn’t be prouder to represent the west

Off Season Domination w/ Hannese (return to plyo ver.)

An angry knee late in the season forced us to limit as much unnecessary load to the knee whilst building strength in supporting musculature

After a well needed rest to the start of the off season we are now slowly rebuilding confidence and capacity in the knee to get ready to dominate next season

Take a look into our velocity and A block :

V1. Band Assisted Pogo
V2. Trap Bar Tall to Short
V3. Walking A Frame to Hip Hike

A1. SSB Step Up
A2. Hell Elevated Wall Sit

17 days until I return to the hill

I won’t lie. Last years performance still haunts me to this day

I was underprepared, overconfident and allowed my emotions to overrule me

Although this prep hasn’t been smooth with both a bone stress injury and tear in my tib post in the last 3 months, I am stronger and wiser as a person

I know that discomfort is only temporary and I’m capable of more

I also know I’m not giving up in the mf chair 😤

Most athletes say they want a better season.

Very few are willing to do what the off-season actually asks of them.

The off-season is not a highlight. It is not motivating every day. There are sessions where the body does not want to be there and the mind finds every reason to make the effort smaller than it needs to be. There are weeks where the progress is invisible and the gap between where you are and where you want to be feels like it is not closing.

And you show up anyway.

Because the athletes on the other side of a great season did not get there by waiting until they felt ready. They got there by surviving the off-season when surviving it was the hardest thing available to them.

The scoreboard does not care about your off-season intentions. It only cares about what you actually built.

Survive this. Show up to season 2027 as a different athlete.

This is what happens when the program was actually built for you.

Not a template. Not a generic off-season block lifted from somewhere else and handed over with a good luck. A program built around this athlete’s body, this athlete’s sport, and the specific physical qualities this athlete needs to develop before season 2027 arrives.

That is the difference between being tired and being prepared.

Most athletes finish their off-season exhausted. Very few finish it ready. The gap between those two outcomes is not how hard they trained. It is whether the program behind the effort was built with enough precision to make the effort mean something specific.

When the program is right the fatigue on the floor at the end of a conditioning block is not just tiredness. It is proof. Proof that the gaps identified in testing are being closed. Proof that the session was designed to push exactly the physical systems that the season is going to demand the most from. Proof that when the first game of 2027 arrives this athlete will not be finding their feet.

They will already be ready.

This off-season stop training hard in the wrong direction. Get a program that was actually built for you.

Comment NEXT and we will reach out today.

One person in an empty building with a vision that was bigger than what he could build alone.

That is where this started.

Every name that came after it was a decision. Not just to hire a coach but to find someone who understood what was being built here and wanted to be part of raising the standard of it. Someone who would show up for the athletes in this building the same way the vision demanded from the very beginning.

Haydn. Pete. Nick. Caitlin. Danny. Georgia.

Six people who chose this place. Six people who have made every athlete who trains here better by being in the room with them. Six people who are the reason this place is not just a facility with good equipment but a team with a genuine standard that compounds every single time someone new joins it.

This is what growth looks like when it is done the right way.

Not fast. Not random. One right person at a time.

We are just getting started.

This is not a gym.

Every detail of this facility was built around one person. The athlete who is serious about what they are trying to achieve and who deserves an environment that matches that seriousness from the moment they walk through the door.

The red track. The Sports Science Zone powered by VALD. The equipment chosen because it serves performance not because it fills space. The coaches on the floor with every athlete every session.

Walk in here and you feel it before anyone says a word.

This is 639. Melbourne’s West. Athletes only. Always.

The “A” series

A1. Front Rack BB Box Squat
A2. Oscillatory RFE Split Squat
A3. Hip Hitch

After a string of some recent unfortunate injuries, i’ve been finding ways to dose intensity without slamming my body with unnecessary impact

I’ve been trialling oscillatory movements as a means to increase stiffness and reactivity without overdoing ground contacts that my body does not have the capacity to take as it recover

The box squat is a staple that remains in my program year round. I keep variety with it but it lets me load heavily to keep bone density up

The hip hitch keeps my uneven pelvis in check and takes the load off my lower back

Strong runners = happy runners 🙂‍↕️
