To all of my followers, although I’m on my weight loss journey I want to remind you of the message that I’ve always and will always promote. Which is to love yourself in the now. Your body is a symbol of your journey, there is no point in spending days hating who you are because, believe me as people we’re never completely happy with ourselves, there’s always something that we want to change when actually we’re perfect just as we are.

I am going to be embracing my curvy body and pictures that I’ve taken and will be taking whilst I’m this size to remind those who still battle with their weight that you can still look fabulous with curves and most importantly in the now. by @coachedbycarron

All I can say is… WE DID IT! 🙌🏽✨

A platform built right here in Yorkshire took six incredibly talented emerging designers to the official London Fashion Week—and they absolutely smashed it!

I’m still waiting for the official images, but I couldn’t let this incredible moment pass without saying something about Saturday night. Seeing our designers’ collections on that runway and watching Yorkshire talent shine in London was a moment I will never forget.

@helen_buzz @thisisicon_ thank you for your vision, for believing in us and for giving Fashion Week Yorkshire the opportunity to showcase what our region has to offer. Thank you for helping us show the press, celebrities and the wider fashion industry that Yorkshire is overflowing with extraordinary talent.

To our amazing designers, models and every member of my team—thank you for trusting the vision and giving your absolute best. To my best friend and my daughter, thank you for standing beside me through it all. Your love, support and commitment mean more than words could ever express.

A very special thank you to @lilliareadingx a talented young makeup artist who travelled all the way from Sheffield to London and worked incredibly hard across so many different faces. Please show her some love and follow her page, @archnaura_bylillia. I appreciate you so much.

There is still so much more to say, but I’ll save that for the next few posts.

Founded by @coachedbycarron Fashion Week Yorkshire has built a growing platform dedicated to creating genuine opportunities for emerging designers, brands and creatives, with inclusivity, accessibility and talent development at its heart.

For THIS IS ICON, championing talent from beyond the traditional fashion capitals isn’t a new direction — it has always been part of what we believe in.

As the wider British fashion industry increasingly recognises the importance of decentralising opportunity and celebrating creative talent from every region of the UK, we are proud to already be putting that belief into action.

This September, Yorkshire comes to London Fashion Week, as Fashion Week Yorkshire brings a specially selected collective of designers to the THIS IS ICON runway — connecting regional talent with an international audience and giving emerging creatives the opportunity to be seen on one of fashion’s biggest stages.

And this is only the beginning.

The news is out! 🤩

Last night was the soft launch and exclusive preview of @codeworldmagazine and what an incredible night it was!

I want to thank everyone who came to support us, network and get a first look at the magazine. We have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring this vision to life: sharing powerful stories, creating opportunities and highlighting the dedication behind the work people do.

Every issue will leave our readers inspired and filled with knowledge, while bringing greater awareness to the businesses, creatives and individuals who truly deserve to be seen.

Last night, I opened up a small part of my network so that people could connect, collaborate and grow together. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and I am beyond grateful. People travelled from across the country to attend, and that means more to me than I can put into words.

Sometimes, I still cannot believe that this is my life. I am simply grateful so incredibly grateful, for the growth.

To my beautiful daughter, who stayed awake until 5 a.m. working on the magazine so that I could sleep: I am truly blessed and grateful to have you by my side. Thank you for believing in this vision and helping me bring it to life.

This isn’t just my magazine, it is ours. Created by us, for us.

It is time for us to create the opportunities and representation we want to see in the world.

✨ A NIGHT OF FASHION, FAITH, CONFIDENCE & of course showing of the CURVES ✨

What a beautiful evening at the @bisthelabel fashion show. 🤍

A night filled with inspiration, stunning designs and most importantly God.

One of my favourite parts? Actually getting to sit back and enjoy the show. Getting a chance to embrace and feel everything. 🥹

With running @fashionweekyorkshire , you spend so much time making sure everyone else gets their moment that you rarely stop to have your own.

So having pictures like this taken of ME felt really special. 📸❤️

As a curvy woman, I’m also passionate about seeing women like us taking up space in fashion, being seen, celebrated and feeling confident in our bodies.

Sometimes you have to step out from behind the scenes and remind yourself…

We are now in partnership with amazing creative space called @feelgoodstudio.leeds A bespoke creative studio space in the heart of South Leeds. Our photography studio was built to bring your creative dream to reality whether it’s photography, video, music or podcast, launch party or screening we are here to accommodate and help make it happen. I’ve always wanted to have a space like this to help bring visions to life and now God has given me this. So grateful! 🙏🏾 by @coachedbycarron

I’m forever grateful for the people in my life who stood by me during the hardest moments, helping me navigate the unknown. The women who didn’t know where the journey would lead, but chose to walk it with me so I wouldn’t have to face it alone. Twelve years on, I’m still deeply thankful that they continue to be there for me and my children.

I’m also incredibly grateful for everyone who has become part of the network I’ve built those who buy tickets, who show up year after year to uplift and empower one another, for the friendships formed, and for the love that fills the space. The show would be nothing without this support.
