PREPARATION.

I’m learning that preparation doesn’t always look like studying, planning or strategizing.

Sometimes preparation looks like taking care of your body.
Building strength.
Increasing endurance.
Developing discipline.

Because where I’m praying to go, I need to be prepared to carry it.

I love the city—the lights, the energy, the experiences…
but I’m a country girl through and through.

There’s something about an open pasture, a big sky and quiet surroundings that settles me.

It slows me down.
