grail. Marcus Stroman pro issue Nike DEP. This is one of the gloves I saw on TV growing up and dreamed one day I would own, and now it’s a reality. I now own two of Stroman’s gloves, the other being his Rookie Year gamer, the black/ mesh Nike DEP. this is one of the most beautiful gloves in my collection currently. wow ! taken in San Diego, California by @coachellagloves

what a trip 🇯🇵 here is the first of two pickups I got in Japan; a beautiful custom zett Pro Status Order BPG-Pro. Yellow leather in Japan is absolutely flawless, and is a popular color there. The pattern of this zett allows for a very Japanese-style close, and I am a big fan of the wingtip back. This zett also has purple stitching, along with a purple palm liner which adds a lot of contrast. The web is probably my favorite part; so unique and something we don’t see often here in the United States. I’m very happy with this pickup, and thank you to all of the great people I met in Japan and got to share conversations with about gloves. I’m very thankful! taken in Japan by @coachellagloves

unbelievable pickup. Padres second baseman Ha Seong Kim pro issue World Pegasus, made in Japan. Before Kim’s time in Major League Baseball, he was a superstar in the KBO, along with being the starting shortstop for Team Korea in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. I was lucky enough to watch him hit his first WBC grand slam in Tokyo, at the legendary Tokyo Dome during my trip to Japan. Kim is easily the fan favorite here in San Diego. Big Tom! Stoked to share my new pickup; pro issue Nike Shado Elite J, game used by Tommy Doyle from the Colorado Rockies in the 2020 season. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you would know how much I love the Nike Elite J line, a Japanese masterpiece. Most Nike gloves you see on the market are black, so getting another tan glove to add to the collection is special. The leather feels like butter, even after going through the historic 2020 MLB season. A cool piece of baseball history. taken in San Diego, California by @coachellagloves

New pickup. I traded for this beautiful Pro Issue J.B. Bukauskas Nike Shado Elite J. It’s very hard to find tan Elite J’s, so I’m very happy with this pickup. The combo of black/ red on the swoosh is a nice touch, and gives some character to the classic tan colorway. This is a very simple glove but stands out tremendously. Japanese perfection. My most recent pickup is this beautiful Atoms glove, designed and sold in Japan. If you have followed me for awhile, you know how much I rave about Japanese gloves. The attention to detail is unlike any other. Any person could easily tell the difference in leather quality compared to lower quality gloves. Atoms uses Uragami leather for their gloves, a high quality leather that is “light, supple and strong”. Some interesting Japanese characteristics on this glove are the wide heel, three thumb loops, along with the hinge at the top of the web. It is subtle but has a beautiful aesthetic. This glove comes from the Urakami Factory, a Japanese Leather Tannery. This is Atoms Professional Line, and feeling this glove in person makes that quite obvious. The shade of red that the Urakami tannery was able to achieve is absolutely breathtaking. A piece of History. I’m extremely stoked to share my newest pickup, this James Paxton Game Used Nike Shado Elite J. Nicknamed “The Big Maple”, Paxton is known for his historical No Hitter against the Blue Jays in 2018, which took place in his native country of Canada. The teal embroidery on the Nike Swoosh and his name pops tremendously off of the black, representing his days with the Seattle Mariners. This glove is another example of the beautiful craftsmanship by Japanese glove manufacturers. Truly art. taken in San Diego, California by @coachellagloves

All Day !! Super stoked to be able to pick this Nike Elite J Connor Greene pro issue. This glove is another testament to how beautiful Japanese made gloves can be.
