I’m incredibly excited to share that The Algorithm of Us, a film I had the opportunity to help bring to life as one of the producers, is officially having its YouTube WORLD PREMIERE on October 4th! 🎥🍿

There is something special about watching an idea move from concept, to production, to a finished film that the world can finally experience.

💜 OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH 💜

Domestic violence doesn’t discriminate. It can happen to ANYONE.

It doesn’t matter your age, race, education, income, career, religion, or social status.

You can be educated, successful, financially independent, a mother, a wife, a business owner, or a respected professional—and still experience domestic violence.
Abuse doesn’t always leave bruises. Sometimes it leaves emotional scars that no one else can see.

💜 THE STATISTICS ARE ALARMING.
According to research available in 2026:

📊 More than 1 in 3 women in the United States have experienced sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime.

📊 Nearly 1 in 3 women have experienced psychological aggression from an intimate partner, including controlling behaviors, threats, and intimidation. 📊 More than half of female homicide victims are killed by a current or former male intimate partner, according to CDC surveillance findings.

📊 On that same day, 13,018 requests for assistance went unmet, primarily because of insufficient resources, funding, or staffing.

These are the latest relevant statistics available in 2026, not figures measuring incidents during the full 2026 calendar year. 💜 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS MORE THAN PHYSICAL ABUSE.

It can look like:
▪️ Emotional and psychological manipulation
▪️ Financial control and withholding resources
▪️ Threats, intimidation, and coercion
▪️ Isolation from friends and family
▪️ Stalking, harassment, and controlling behavior
▪️ Physical violence and sexual abuse

Sometimes the person who hurts you is the same person who tells the world they love you.
And sometimes the strongest women are fighting battles behind closed doors that nobody knows about.

💜 TO EVERY WOMAN WHO HAS EXPERIENCED ABUSE:

Your voice matters.
Your safety matters.
Your story matters.
Your future matters.

🪶🌎 HAPPY INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ DAY! ✊🏽

BEFORE THERE WAS AN AMERICA, THERE WERE OUR ANCESTORS!

Today, we honor the FIRST PEOPLE, FIRST NATIONS, and REAL OGs of America! 🔥

As someone proudly embracing my Muscogee (Creek) heritage, today is about TRUTH, RESILIENCE, and honoring our ancestors.

📚 LET’S BUST SOME HISTORY MYTHS!

🪶 MYTH #1: Columbus discovered America.
❌ You cannot discover land already inhabited by millions! Indigenous civilizations thrived for thousands of years with governments, agriculture, medicine, engineering, and trade networks. Columbus didn’t discover us. HE ENCOUNTERED US!

🪶 MYTH #2: Pocahontas was a Disney love story.
❌ The real Pocahontas was a Powhatan child, approximately 10–12 when she met John Smith. She was kidnapped by English colonists in 1613 and died in England around age 21. Her story was NOT a fairy tale!

🪶 MYTH #3: Thanksgiving was a peaceful celebration of friendship.
❌ The Wampanoag helped English settlers survive. While a harvest gathering occurred in 1621, colonization brought warfare, stolen land, broken agreements, and devastating losses. Indigenous people practiced gratitude LONG before the Pilgrims arrived!

🪶 MYTH #4: Native Americans willingly surrendered their land.
❌ Our ancestors endured forced removal, broken treaties, and violence. My Muscogee (Creek) ancestors were among those forced from their homelands during the Trail of Tears. Families suffered, but our people SURVIVED!

🪶 MYTH #5: Native Americans are history.
❌ WE ARE STILL HERE! Entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, veterans, leaders, and families preserving our cultures and traditions.

🔥 LET’S BE CLEAR!

We were NOT obstacles to American history.

WE WERE HERE BEFORE AMERICA EXISTED!

Our ancestors survived displacement, boarding schools, cultural erasure, and generations of injustice.

Yet STILL WE RISE! ✊🏽

We are NOT costumes, mascots, or footnotes in history books.

WE ARE LIVING HISTORY!

🪶 HONOR THE ANCESTORS.
🪶 ACKNOWLEDGE THE TRUTH.
🪶 RESPECT TRIBAL SOVEREIGNTY.
🪶 CELEBRATE INDIGENOUS RESILIENCE.

🎉Congrats to my favorite son on achieving red strip belt in Taekwondo! 2.5 years of hard work, 2 more belts until black belt. You make me proud. A Family that Kicks Together Sticks Together. Studies @yonginmartialartsacademy : MASTER MICHAEL WOO
Master Michael started taekwondo when he was just 4 years old and is now a 5th degree black belt. He is the main master of Yong In and focuses on every student to help them become the best versions of themselves. He is also one of our student drivers and helps with the students daily, they have a blast with him every single day! MASTER ANGIE WOO
Master Angie started taekwondo when she was just 4 years old and is now a 4th Dan black belt. She instructs class and helps with any student that needs it. She is also one of our staff that attends to the after-school kids. She plays with the students before class and helps with homework as well. #focus #disciplined #hardwork #taeknowdo #year7 by @coachjeanetta
