Why player development is boring: Kobe example

Coach Peyton Mortellite explains why real player development is boring — because getting better comes from mastering the same fundamentals over and over again.

No secret drills. No shortcuts. Just repetition, discipline, game-speed work, and staying committed long enough for the results to show.
Even Kobe’s greatness was built on doing the “boring” things longer than everybody else.
