POSTS STORIES REELS

Allow me to re-introduce myself.

Swipe for the story I built my whole life on, why I stopped living by it and what that changed about how I coach.

Over the next few weeks you’ll meet every coach on the team…and hear their story.

Three signs you’re still running an old pattern...

1. Constant rumination. You hold your tongue at the family function, then replay it all night.

2. Self-sabotage. One wrong choice and you’re starting over on Monday. Or you do the thing you know isn’t good for you because it’s familiar.

3. You don’t know yourself anymore. Years of showing up for everyone else and now you can’t answer what you want.

Which one did you recognize first?

Years of therapy. Every mindfulness practice. Allll the journaling. And you’re still running the same pattern.

The therapy did its job. It brought the issue up. But it stayed in your head...so you talk about the problem. The feelings come up. And they don’t go anywhere.

Two things have to happen for it to hold.

Get it out of the think tank and into your body. Notice what it’s creating there and let yourself actually feel it.

Then practice it regularly. Sit with the hard feeling differently. Handle the trigger differently. Say the thing differently.

What you repeat gets ingrained. Nothing changes until you repeat something new.

Take the pattern audit to see what’s still stuck on default.

Nothing’s wrong but you still can’t switch off.
You slept eight hours and still woke up tired.

Your body never clocked out.
It’s braced for the next thing on a list that never ends.

So you drink at night. Get sh*tty sleep. Snooze a bunch of times. Slam caffeine. Then you stay up too late to get your time back... and fill it with scrolling, because sitting with what you feel is harder.

Then you do it all again tomorrow.

Rest starts when you stop living in tomorrow long enough to ask...
Can I be present right now?
What do I need in this moment?

You hit the goal.
And for a moment...it feels like enough.

Then the old story comes back.

“Not enough” was written into you long before any of it. Somewhere in your origin story it became the lens you see yourself through.

It’s built. It’s crafted. And you just go with it.

The next achievement won’t touch it.
Going back to where the story started will.

That’s where you get to look at it as an observer instead of living inside it.
And ask a better question...
What would I do if I believed something else about myself?

You say yes before they’ve even finished asking.
Then you spend the whole week resenting what you agreed to.

That yes got wired in young, back when saying no made things feel unsafe in your body.
So now your body answers before you get a vote.

You don’t need to start saying no.
You need a pause.
One breath. Long enough to ask...
Is this an authentic yes?
Or an obligatory one?

Because the obligatory ones turn into resentment later.

New plan Monday.
Stricter rules.
And you already know how it ends.

Swipe if you’re tired of white knuckling it...the strict plan was never really about the habit.

Find the pattern you’re actually running.

You keep calling it a discipline problem because punishing yourself is the one thing you already know how to do.

New plan on Monday. Stricter rules. Cut the thing, wake up earlier, white-knuckle it until it cracks... then decide you just need to try harder.

What you need is more DEVOTION.

Am I keeping the promises I make to myself?
Am I honoring my own needs?
Am I naming them out loud?

Discipline built on punishment holds until you’re tired. Devotion holds any day of the week, because your body isn’t bracing against you anymore.

I’m dropping in with a little update... and the story behind it.

Swipe for how fitness, nutrition and mindset each got me closer, where they all stopped and why That Girl Magic is now Recoding Mindset.

Coaching women is one of my passions. The other is developing coaches. This is both.

If you’re not in a coaching container right now and want a place to start, there’s a pattern audit for you (link in bio). Just a few questions about what pattern is keeping you stuck this week.

Excited for this next evolution 🫶

Anger is an outward facing emotion. It gives somewhere to put the energy that isn’t yourself.

Grief and shame are inward facing. There’s no target. It’s just this feeling of sitting in your own struggle with what you’re lacking.

So when given the choice, your nervous system is going to reach for anger every time because at least angry feels like I’m doing something.

The problem is that anger at someone else has a shelf life that runs out the moment they’re gone or no longer available.

And then you’re standing there with nothing feeling truly resolved, because the anger was never actually pointed at the real thing.

You know those moments when someone cancels and you say it’s fine but you’re already rewriting the last conversation looking for what you did wrong?

Swipe through, because the plans changing is all that actually happened... everything after that was the story your mind filled in.
And it’s using data from a long time ago.

Save it for the next time you spiral over a delayed text. Send it to the woman who keeps reacting to what she decided it meant.

You built the independence you needed.
And now the question is whether you can trust that the woman who built all of that can also bring it into relationship without losing it.

That the cage gets really comfortable because it’s easy to operate in an environment where you don’t have to worry about another person coming in to disrupt it.

Hyper-independence isn’t the same as freedom.
It’s just a version of safety you built when connection didn’t feel safe.
