100% focused on the process. 💥

You show up, do the repetitive, unsexy work, and deposit the reps. For a long time, the balance looks flat. But consistency builds pressure under the surface long before you ever see the breakthrough.
Trusting the process isn’t passive—it’s an active choice to stay disciplined when motivation leaves the room. Stop negotiating with your daily standards based on how you feel or how fast the results are coming.
Key principles to remember: 1️⃣ Focus on input, not output. Control what’s on your plate today. 2️⃣ Standardize before you optimize. Show up before trying to be perfect. 3️⃣ Never miss twice. Bad days happen; compound bad days destroy progress.
Keep putting in the work. The compound effect is working even when you can’t see it yet. DEMAND EXCELLENCE by @coachmarkdavis_11

This season has been a powerful lesson in adaptability and resilience. Yesterday was a perfect example: lightning in the area forced us indoors for over 30 minutes during training.
Seeing an opportunity, an amazing ice rink staff member asked if the players wanted to ice skate while we waited. Even though some of the boys had never skated before, we hopped on the ice and had an incredible experience together. Once the storm passed, we headed back out and dropped right into a top-notch training session.
Not having a permanent home field could have been a setback, but instead, it brought this team closer. We’ve learned to constantly adapt and turn every unexpected twist into a win. The ability to embrace challenges and stay resilient isn’t just the key to a great season—it’s the key to a happy and successful life by @coachmarkdavis_11

A few weeks back a pipe broke under the @slcc_msoccer @slcc_wsoccer soccer field. We will not let this define our 2026 year we have a special group of players that are 100% committed to the culture and getting better everyday. Good luck to all my friends and colleagues as we start the college season today. by @coachmarkdavis_11

Me and @nataliedavis8 had the opportunity to serve the youth of our church the last 4 days. We went on a trek in Idaho to honor some of our ancestors who put everything on the line to come to the Salt Lake Valley to settle this amazing state. Natalie and I both have a strong pioneer heritage in our family lines. We were called as a Ma and Pa, we were in charge of 8 kids ages ranging from 13-18 years old. I can’t believe the connection we had with all 8 of these kids in such a short time. Dax also got to go and it was awesome to see him have these amazing experiences as well. We put in 30 plus miles with them mostly up hill pushing a very heavy hand cart. We had next to zero cell service and it was amazing to disconnect for a few days. I am incredibly grateful for the pioneers, this was an incredible experience that exceeded every expectation I had going into it. Love God and this great state and country we live in 🇺🇸🐝🇺🇸 by @coachmarkdavis_11

Congrats to @coachmarkdavis_11 on 10 incredible years as the head coach at @slccmensoccer

Coach Mark started both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at SLCC in 2016, and in just 10 short years, he has built SLCC into one of the top NJCAA programs in the country.

In 2021, Coach Mark led both the men’s and women’s teams to the NJCAA National Championship games. The women’s team came up just short of the title, but two days later, the men’s team captured the program’s first-ever National Championship.

Over the years, Coach Mark has led his teams to five Final Four appearances and was named the 2020 National Coach of the Year.

His favorite saying is “Demand Excellence,” and he lives by it every day — giving his best no matter the circumstances. More importantly, Coach Mark truly cares about his players and wants them to succeed in every aspect of life.

Congrats on 10 amazing years, Coach. Looking forward to many more! by @coachmarkdavis_11

First full marathon in the books! @ogdenmarathon is a great race. I enjoyed the process way more than I expected and I hurt way less than what I anticipated. The entire day was amazing.
