You ever look at a photo and realize you lost yourself? @coachmax___

That moment hit Coach Max hard. A personal trainer turned company employee, he took a job to support his family after the gym he worked at shut down during the pandemic.
The work paid the bills but made him feel like he could be replaced at any moment.

Virtual training didn’t stick. The stress built. His health slipped.
And then he saw that picture.

Meanwhile, his Apple Watch kept going off from friends finishing workouts, closing rings, staying consistent. And he wasn’t. That quiet stream of updates, became motivation.

He transferred closer to home so he could run, walk or bike to work. We connected on IG then in person and started getting the miles in.

Now? Coach Max is back in control of his health, showing up strong.

This is Social Media to Social Meeting Up

LIFE ...

In a world full of distractions, you can very easily get side tracked and not focus on yourself and that’s a problem. The most valuable thing we have is our health and how you take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

As a man, it can get a bit overwhelming sometimes when you want to be the best Dad, the best Husband, the best Son, also the best person someone can reach out to for health tips. In 2023 2 years in working for a corporate company , I lost sight of things that I have passion for.

The beginning of 2024 my Wife had a miscarriage and it affected us tremendously. Grieving is important, but I’ll admit I’m not the best at grieving.

What helped and keeps helping is my passion for fitness. Sports, fitness and just health in general helps me cope with ALL of my life’s challenges. At the same time with fitness helps me cultivate and be much better for my family.

2024 I’ve been reminded once again of how much fitness is important to me. I live and breathe fitness, and it’s my passion.

Team ‼️

Fitness is a great medicine. Fitness is an essential lifestyle, that can lower your blood pressure, decrease the chances of having any chronic diseases. Fitness can help with the way you think, retain more information. Increase energy, improve your mood.

Fitness helps you feel more confident, increase your lifespan. You’ll have the ability to play with your kids.

Fitness comes in many different forms Yoga, meditation, 5,000-10,000 steps daily, eating well, socializing, hiking, etc…

Reminder ‼️

Corporate Companies we work for do not care about your health nor your time. The MOST valuable things we have is Time and our Health. PUT THEM FIRST AND SECOND in your priorities. by @coachmax___

There isn’t any cutting corners for hard work. You just have to be willing to put in the work. It’s just like anything else you do in life, it’s about becoming better as an individual in your terms.•
•
What helped me tremendously to focus and lock into fitness was the love I have for sports. It’s very important to have that motivation and that reason WHY your doing things that you want to do. For me because of the rough neighborhood I was raised in, and sports developed mental toughness then came the work ethic. •
•
Most people know the importance of including fitness in their lives, yet there’s a ton of chronic illnesses. Why is that? I believe training our mind is a huge component. Without training the mind, it’s easy to fall victim of taking the easy way out. •
•
Training the mind is essential to reaching your fitness goals. If your fitness goals is to lose weight, build muscle, gain strength or even eat healthier, none of these fitness goals can be achieved if you haven’t trained your mind. •
•
The second and third huge components is to find your motivation and the reason why your doing it. Once you have established your motivation, you have to be mindful of WHY do you want to lose weight, build muscles, gain strength or even eat better. When you have that motivation and that reason WHY, then your body will follow naturally. •
•
Let me know if you struggle a bit with mental toughness, any questions you have with muscle building comment or DM me. 💪🏽

Team,

I’m not just training my body—I’m building the discipline, mindset, and consistency that I expect from the people I coach.

As a coach, I believe you can’t ask others to embrace a process that you’re not willing to live yourself.

Some days are easy. Some days you have to push yourself to show up. But that’s where the real growth happens—not when everything feels perfect, but when you choose to keep going anyway.

Every workout is a reminder that progress takes patience, consistency, and a willingness to become better than you were yesterday.

I’m still learning. Still growing. Still putting in the work.

And that’s the message I want every person I coach to understand:

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be willing to show up, stay consistent, and keep becoming better.

One day. One workout. One choice at a time. 💪🏽❤️

Love, Coach Max

Team,

10, 15, 20, 25 minutes of movement—that’s all you need. Get your session done. No excuses.

Tonight’s session had my princess behind the camera, while both my kids watched Dad put in that work and get money. ❤️

Let’s go!

Team,

Life shapes us in ways we don’t always recognize.

The experiences we go through build our character. The challenges build our resilience. And the people we surround ourselves with influence the way we think, grow, and lead.

That’s why your circle matters. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, motivate you, challenge you, and genuinely want to see you succeed.

Stay open to learning. Stay hungry for growth. And never stop becoming a better version of yourself.

Your experiences shape your story. Your circle shapes your journey. Your mindset shapes your future. ✨

Team,

🏃‍♂️ Your shoes are your most important piece of running gear.

If you’ve logged 300–500 miles in your current pair, it’s time to start thinking about a replacement. Even if they still look good on the outside, the midsole cushioning and support gradually break down with every run.

Running in worn-out shoes can contribute to unnecessary aches, reduced efficiency, and increase your risk of overuse injuries.

💡 Coach’s tip:
✅ Track your shoe mileage using Strava—that’s exactly what I do! You can add your running shoes as gear, and Strava will automatically track the mileage for each pair.
✅ Rotate between two pairs if you’re running consistently.
✅ Don’t wait until your shoes are falling apart to replace them.

The goal isn’t just to avoid injuries—it’s to keep you training consistently, recovering well, and enjoying every mile.

Take care of your shoes, and they’ll take care of you. 👟

Do you track the mileage on your running shoes? If not, give it a try—and if you already do, how many miles are on your current pair? ⬇️

Love,
Coach Max

Team,

Core is NOT just your abdomen.

Core is considered in

Professional Terms- (LPHC)
Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip complex

Hip, Lower back, your oblique and abdomen as well.

Always keep this important info in mind.

The role of our Core is to stabilize our spine.

Our spine is flexible enough to bend, but we’re not suppose to be bending our spine frequently. The Spine is designed to allow the body have mobility.

Avoid exercises like Sit-ups.. any exercise that causes the spine to bend.

Love,
Coach Max
