#ThrowbackThursday 🐢🏈💪🏾 Our #GIC parents often ask me about my college and NFL playing days. What was it like? What did it take to reach those levels? One ingredient I know for sure… THE WEIGHT ROOM WAS, AND STILL IS, NONNEGOTIABLE! 💪🏾 🐢 University of Maryland Weight Room Records — 1996 🏋🏾 Power Clean: 374 lbs 🏋🏾 Squat: 674 lbs 💪🏾 Strength Index: 762 Additional Weight Room Stat: 🏋🏾 Bench Press: 365 lbs (Not a record) Strength Index combines bench press, power clean, and squat. To my young #GIC athletes: Talent may open doors, but hard work, discipline, and consistency will determine how far you go! Beyond the records and football memories, nothing compares to the bonds and brotherhood built with my Terp brothers. That brotherhood is FOREVER! 🐢❤️ MARYLAND PRIDE!
