The boys snagged a championship this weekend! Huge shoutout to my 12U Blue team!
Last week, they experienced going 0-3, but they bounced back this weekend with a fantastic 4-0 run!
I’m incredibly proud of this group and so lucky to coach them!

It feels like just yesterday I was here nearly four years ago with a group that is now 12U. Once again, I’m incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing group of kids—each with their own unique personalities, yet able to come together, support one another, and play this game as a team.

As coaches and parents, we sometimes focus on the big moments—the missed opportunities, the close plays, or the games that didn’t go our way. But years from now, these kids won’t remember the strikeout in a big spot or the play they wish they had made. They’ll remember the friendships they built, the laughs they shared, the car rides, the celebrations, and the memories created through this game we all love.

Thank you to all of our Untamed Baseball families for your support, dedication, and commitment throughout the season. A special Happy Father’s Day to all of our Untamed Baseball dads. We appreciate everything you do to make these moments possible for your kids.

I hope yesterday created lifelong memories for you and your families. Enjoy the day—you’ve earned it!

Excited to kickoff the Hitting Lab!

Purpose of Joining the Hitting Lab
The goal of our 7-week hitting program is to help young hitters become more consistent with their barrel contact, resulting in harder, more precise hits. The primary focus during this time will be refining the bat path to keep the barrel in the hitting zone longer and improve overall swing efficiency.
What to Expect
• Training Schedule: Athletes will train two days a week, totaling 3 hours of focused work. Each player will follow a personalized program that adjusts weekly based on their progress.
• Development Focus: We will help hitters learn from every miss—whether it’s a bat path or timing issue. By tracking key metrics like barrel percentage and line drive percentage, we’ll monitor growth throughout the program.
Key Objectives:
• Refine Bat Path: Improve the consistency of a player’s swing through the hitting zone.
• Increase Line Drives: Focus on developing a swing that generates more line drive contact.
• Enhance Swing Mechanics: Address individual flaws and build on existing strengths for an overall better swing.
Our Commitment:
We want the Hitting Lab to be a place where players can immerse themselves in focused development for seven weeks. At the end of the program, athletes will see significant improvements in their swing and hitting metrics, with measurable gains in barrel and line drive percentages.

Let’s get to work! DM/Text for any questions! taken in Gamers Baseball & Softball Academy by @coachrayorta

Still processing what just happened...

3rd place out of 82 teams. 🥉
A run for the ages, with a group I’ll never forget. These boys made history in Cooperstown this past week — and I
couldn’t be more proud.

After pool play, we were 4-2 and barely made it into the Championship bracket as the 30th seed out of 32. Day 1 of playoffs, we took down an undefeated 6-0 team from California — battled adversity, had a run taken away, I got tossed from the game 😂 — and still found a way to get the job done.
The amount of passion, heart, and emotion these boys played with was incredible. They believed. They played for each other. And they left it all on the field.
Final 4. A memory I’ll carry with me forever.
Thank you to Berkeley Heights for always taking me in like family. It means more than you know.

To the boys — you made history. Be proud of yourselves. Keep being who you are and never forget why you started playing this game. ⚾️
Future state champs, no doubt.

Thank you again, BH — y’all have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Outfield Prep with the boys. Focus this practice was Pro-Step footwork, and cutting down extra steps when throwing the ball into our cutoff man. There might be a time when Outfielder’s may need an extra step to stay in rhythm, or get more power behind the throw. Totally okay, just get the ball in QUICKLY!!

Take a look at CF for the @twins @buckdaddy103 and @cody_bellinger @yankees 💪🏽🔥😮‍💨
