Recap :
Tough night for our 5th/6th grade team. Let’s just leave it at that. 😂 On to next week.

7th/8th grade SHOWED OUT tonight! Braden was in total control of the game with excellent quarterback play, and my basketball boys apparently decided football season was their time to shine too. 😂 Frankie had 3 touchdowns, Blaze had 2, Haven added another, and David even threw a touchdown… then made sure the hair was still looking nice and pretty afterward. 😂

Proud of these boys. Through the wins and the losses, we keep learning, keep working, keep believing in each other, and keep giving God the glory. On to next week! 🙏🏈🦅

Week 5 in the books! 🦅🏈

Our 5th/6th grade boys came out rolling last night and mercy-ruled SLAM, with the score being stopped at 35–0. Total team effort from start to finish, great quarterback play, and just a really fun group of kids to coach. These boys continue to listen, compete, and get better every week.

Our 7th/8th grade boys fought hard again. I know the wins aren’t showing up on the scoreboard right now, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. The improvement in this team, their effort, and the way they continue to battle has been awesome to watch. They’ve been competitive in every game this season and they’re getting closer and closer to putting all the pieces together.

Good things are coming for this group. Keep working, keep believing, and keep trusting the process. 🙏. by @coachrayray88

🏈 WEEK 4 RECAP | LMCA EAGLES 🦅.
Great effort from both teams last night!
5th & 6th Grade: This one slipped right through our fingers. Tough losses come with valuable lessons, and I’m confident these boys will learn, grow and come back stronger. Sometimes you learn more from a loss than a win. Proud of this group!
7th & 8th Grade: BACK ON TRACK! 💪 Frankie came up BIG with two touchdowns, and offensively, we did a great job taking what the defense gave us. It was especially rewarding to get everyone on the field and give all our boys some playing time. A total team effort!
Wins and losses are part of the game, but watching these young men develop, compete and grow together is what coaching is all about.

WEEK 4 🦅🏈

Both teams are coming off what was quite possibly their best week of practice since the season started. The focus was there, the effort was there, and now it’s time to carry that into tonight.

5TH/6TH GRADE 🦅

The boys look to keep their winning streak alive tonight. Alex continues to lead the offense at quarterback with great field vision and a natural ability to lead. This is a feisty group that listens, competes, and responds well to coaching. I can’t wait to see what they bring tonight.

7TH/8TH GRADE 🦅

After a great week of practice, I think these boys are starting to get a much better feel for the new league and the level of competition in this division. If we can put together a complete game, this group has the ability to be a force.

What’s been most encouraging is watching them bond as a team, working as a unit, encouraging one another, and picking each other up when someone falls. That’s bigger than football.

Tonight, I’m looking forward to a total team effort built on faith, grit, and teamwork.

Nightcap from tonight 🏈🦅

Congratulations to our 5th & 6th grade boys! They definitely made this one a little harder than it needed to be 😂, but when it mattered, they rallied together, played as a team, and found a way to get the W. I’m extremely proud of how well this group listens, responds to coaching, and continues to grow each week.

Our 7th & 8th grade boys are still giving us a little Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde 😂, one half they look like absolute killers, and the other half we’re still trying to find that same consistency. But one thing I’ll never question is their fight. These last two games could have easily gone our way, and I truly believe we’re getting closer.

We’ll keep working. We’ll keep learning. Hard work, grit, and staying together will get us there.

Proud of BOTH of these teams. It’s an honor and a privilege to coach these young men and watch them grow, not just as football players, but as teammates. 💙🤍🦅

Week 3 is here, and we’re excited to keep building! 🦅🏈

Our 5th & 6th grade Eagles have come out strong, winning their first two games by an average of 30 points. The scoreboard is great, but what we’re most proud of is the way these kids are learning, competing, supporting one another, and growing each week.

Our 7th & 8th grade Eagles are still finding their identity, and that’s part of the journey. If they play with the same heart, energy, and togetherness they showed in the second half last week, there are a lot of great things ahead for this group. Sometimes the biggest lessons come while you’re still figuring things out.

And through it all, the three of us coaches continue to work together with one goal and zero egos. It’s never about who gets the credit, it’s about these kids. Teaching them, encouraging them, holding them accountable, and helping them become better teammates and young men.
