This was a Tough Year.✝️✝️✝️

After COVID 19 took hold of the world in 2020 , I Dam Sure thought that , their couldn't because year worse than 2020. Good God Almighty was I wrong.
It's bad enough having to attend one funeral in a year , but to have to attend Three in one year , and even worse , Three within a Five month period is Absolutely insane. In August I attended the funeral of my older kung fu brother (Si Hing) PM Howard E Davis Jr.
Howard had been a long time student of our late Master , Dean Chin of the Jow Ga system , first joining the school sometime between 1974 and 1975.
We became fast friends when I joined in 1981 , and we were brothers from that day forward.

Then I attended the funeral for a woman that was like a second mother to me , Mrs. Rudy Green , who is the mother to my brother Gregorio Gustavo Green .
I have known Mrs. Green for as long as I've her son and his two sisters , Alicia Green and Mina Green.
The Green Family are near and dear to my Heart and so it gave me pride to carry her casket to its resting place this past September.

In November I got the call that my First Cousin , who also happened to be my Godfather , Anthony Colbert
passed away peacefully. Of all the Men who have shaped my life , in one way or another , the two men I Respect the most are my own Father , who passed away in 1982 , and my Godfather. He served his country with honor , when he was drafted to go to wat in Vietnam in 1970. He was as they say , a Christian Man , serving as the DC Chapter President for the Knights of Columbus in the mid 1990's. I tell you no lie when I say , God broke the mold when he made this one.

I will Miss them All greatly but , I know they are all in a Better place , and I will honor them all , until my dying day. ✝️✝️✝️ by @coachrfresh

Remembering Our Founder:👊👊👊

Today we remembered the Father of Jow Ga Kung Fu in the United States Master Dean Chin. His vision to establish the first official Chinese Martial Arts school in our Nation's capital of Washington DC, was celebrated by his Students, Grand Students and Great Grand Students.🔥🔥🔥 by @coachrfresh

Got It In Early ‼️🥵

Under the bridge at Jones Point Park, putting in 2.5 Hours of Serious Work. Met with a student at 10 am for training in the Jow Ga system. Then practiced on my stuff, trying to get ready for the U.S. Capitol Classic Tournament. Then worked out with another client doing Conditioning. And a guy walked up asking for info about Training. But my Tank was completely soaked through, to the point that I had to wring out the Sweat‼️
