Ronaldo is one of the best stewards for the sport of football.

Portugal didn't play as expected, and Spain was simply hungrier to advance. But to see people mocking a legend who has given everything to this modern era is shameless. He's played in 6 World Cups, conquered every top league, and set the standard in the sport.

Respect his tears, respect his legacy.

PURE Unfiltered // Part 20

Is Coach Rob right? Has Messi had an easier ride than Ronaldo?

My one rule for my son when a party becomes uncomfortable: LEAVE. 🚪 If there’s alcohol or stupid behaviour, get out immediately. No questions. You’re not weak for walking out. You’re ahead.

The skill gets better. The vessel that has to deliver it is diminishing. 👇

Tap a glass against a table. At first, nothing. The. Little chinks. The bigger cracks. Until the smash. That's what injury is.

Everything online is about work, work, work. But if you're just working and not doing anything to rest, recover, or build the system back up, the system slowly degrades.

The body is what carries the skill. Training done properly is how more athletes get to go as far as they can.

The goal isn't just training your sport. It's doing the right work, and recovery, to help your body handle the demands of your sport.

That's what we build in the Speed and Strength program @puresports.ae. Want to know if it's right for you? Send a DM today. 📩

The red card was fair enough. But the defender deserved one too.

Max Foreman was wrong to react, but the moment a young player makes a mistake is the moment the adults in the room matter most.

Hold the standard, protect the person. That's how you build a player and a human being.

Was Arteta too harsh on Max? 👇

How do you go from the champions of England to getting smoked by a League Two team?🤦‍♂️ 😩

I praised Arteta just a couple of posts ago. But getting completely outplayed in the easiest cup tie of the year with slow, side-to-side football and zero pace? That needs to stop.

Nine-game winning streak. Then Mourinho's Real Madrid showed up. He didn't try to play Barcelona's style. He let them have the pressure, absorbed it and hit them on the break. What a masterclass performance!

What do you think won it for Real Madrid?

I owe you an apology, Mikel Arteta. 🫡

I have given you plenty of sticks over the years. But Arsenal won the Premier League and finished runners-up in the Champions League, and we don't have a single Arsenal player in the top 10 of the Ballon d'Or? I think this is disrespectful.

Is the Ballon d'Or fair to Arsenal?

Harry Kane deserved it. However, Kylian Mbappe is the people's favourite to win the Ballon d'Or.

Did the voters get it right?

I’m a father first, a coach second. As my son continues his recovery following ACL surgery, there are lessons he needs to hear that go beyond basketball.

It’s not just about putting in the hours. It’s about being intentional with your time, working on your weaknesses, and making sure every effort has a purpose.

Because my job as a father isn’t just to help him become a better athlete. It’s to help him become a better man.

Some lessons go beyond the game. ❤️🏀

@krist_trev I know you heard me. 😃❤️

Speed without structural control is a ticking time bomb. Everyone loves seeing a fast young athlete. Few ask whether the body can handle that speed. 🚨

Speed is more than just getting from point A to point B fast. If you don’t train your body to handle the torque, it hurts you. You need to build the physical foundation first. Speed is a byproduct of strength and control; when you build the system right, speed naturally follows, and the body can actually handle it.

As a real Arsenal fan, this one hurts bad. 😂 Glad the score is just in a game, not real life ⚽ 🎮. I guess I'm no longer good at FIFA.

@krist_trev, we have to run it back.

The player with inch perfect tackles that feel like goals. He's just too accurate on those last-ditch tackles. I think this is a great signing, especially with Saliba out injured.

How well has Konsa filled in while Saliba is out?
