BEST. WEEK. EVER. 🥹🩷A cheer wedding wouldn’t be complete without some stunts! 💍 by @coachsienna

National Coaches Week 🩷 and feeling VERY spoiled by my teams and families at Boss. 🥹

These gift baskets were SO incredibly generous and thoughtful, and while the gifts are amazing & so appreciated, it really isn’t about the gifts. It’s the thought. Knowing that the people you spend so many hours with thought about you, appreciate you and wanted to make you feel special means more than I can say. 🩷

I’ve been reflecting a lot this week on how lucky I am to still love coaching as much as I do (21 whole years later… can you believe it?! 🥹).

I get to coach two teams that I absolutely adore. Athletes who work hard, but also make me laugh, joke around with me, give me hugs, tell me stories and somehow know when you need a little extra love that day. Those are the moments I love most.

And then I look around Boss and it’s kind of crazy to think that something I’ve always called my little “passion project” has turned into THIS. 🥹

So many athletes. Different ages, teams, levels and personalities. So many friendships. Families who support us and trust us with their kids. And a staff of coaches who genuinely love these athletes and pour so much into them.

That part gets me.

Because as much as I love cheerleading, it has never just been about cheerleading.

It’s watching kids grow up. Watching their confidence grow. Seeing friendships form. Learning to work hard, be a good teammate, handle disappointment, celebrate others and keep going when things are hard.

And somewhere in all of that, you build relationships that become so much bigger than the sport.

I’m just really, really grateful. For my teams. For every athlete who walks through our doors. For our families who support this crazy thing we love so much. And for our coaches who love these kids, believe in them and continue to show up for them. 🩷

And to our athletes… thank you. You probably don’t realize it, but you continue to inspire me to be a better coach and leader every single day. Thank you for filling my heart with so much love & joy.

YOU will forever be my why. 🥹🩷

Some weekends test you in ways you could never plan for.

This was one of those weekends.

Unexpected injuries, routines stopped mid-music, athletes stepping onto the floor after learning new spots just minutes before competing. Situations that no amount of preparation can truly prepare you for.

But what I saw from these athletes this weekend is something special.

I saw teammates step up without hesitation.
I saw athletes learning entirely new roles in less than 10 minutes backstage and trusting each other enough to go for it anyway.

I saw courage to walk back onto the floor after scary moments and still perform with so much heart.

I saw my teams choose support, love, and resilience when it would have been easy to let stress and fear take over, and give up.

Wins are amazing. Of course, we all strive for them- that’s the nature of our sport. But this weekend, the real win was something much bigger than any medal or banner.

The real win was watching our Boss family rally around each other.

Athletes doing whatever it took for the person beside them.

These teams refusing to quit, refusing to fold, and choosing to rise together.

What these athletes showed this weekend cannot be measured on a scoresheet.

It’s character.
It’s trust.
It’s resilience.
It’s family.

And as a coach, I genuinely could not be more proud even if I tried.

Watching these athletes rise to the moment, support one another, and choose to not give up- but continue to compete with heart, filled me with more pride and joy than I could begin to explain. Hollywood & Luxe, I love you girls so much and I am forever and ever proud to be your coach. 🩷 And to my incredible co-coaches Carley & Wadzi, my rocks- I am so grateful to have you both by my side “together, forever- no matter the weather”. 🫶 by @coachsienna
