@bettyqiao_ with the 2 point conversion after @montsebolanos_ TD run. Her second scoring catch after last week's TD catch. Every time she catches the ball, she scores points!! @sportsgirlerinn @grovesathletics @usatodayhss by @coachwickersham

@montsebolanos_ with her first TD of the season, a 66-yard scamper down the left sideline and then across the field. She took coach's advice :) #IYKYK @grovesathletics @sportsgirlerinn @lionsyouthfb @usatodayhss by @coachwickersham

#noflyzone part 2. @kbuskin_ with her 2nd pick 6 only three plays after her first pick 6. Returned 23 yards and broke 3 tackles. Stellar defense drawn up by @sportsgirlerinn and executed to perfection. #weready @grovesathletics @lionsyouthfb @statechampsmich @usatodayhss by @coachwickersham

So proud of this team and @sportsgirlerinn for winning the program's first division title since 2024 with a 34-12 victory over @wmcorsairsflagfootball. Groves senior @kbuskin_ threw 4 TD passes to @lilymcclendon3 @a.li.yah.h @emmaxaumann and Betty Qiao. Groves sophomore Ariana Kadlec finished the scoring with a TD pass to @claudia.whitelam.
Our final game of the regular season gives us our toughest test yet, an undefeated Bloomfield Hills team in the OAA Crossover championship. Details TBD.

We traveled to Lake Orion to have our youngest and newest players take on Lake Orion's JV squad. @lilymcclendon3 scored 2x (66 yard catch and 48 yard catch), one from @kbuskin_ and the other from Ariana Kadlec, the first of 3 TD passes she would make. The other 2 TD throws went to @claudia.whitelam and @olivia_lee614. @emmaxaumann caught a 5 yard TD pass from Olivia Nelson (who also got her first interception). 3 of those TDs were on 4th down.

Defensively, the team racked up 4 INTs by Claudia, Olivia Nelson, @presley.groh and Isabella Martin.
The best thing about today was that @kbuskin_ called the offensive plays and @_mollyfrederiksen made the defensive calls.

I can't express how proud I am of these seniors. When we started this program 4 years ago, we had freshmen like @_mollyfrederiksen @presley.groh and @jyoti.coyote687 who have been with us since the beginning. 3rd year players like @a.li.yah.h @kbuskin_ @isabella.cocroft made an immediate impact since joining as sophomores. And Betty Qiao joined this year and has made a positive impact. We have two games left, a tournament in November, and our spring season, so I am expecting great things from these leaders. @grovesathletics @grovesflagfootball birminghampublicschools
