📝Helpful Tips for Class of 2024 and 2025.📝

Here are some tips to help you seniors and juniors start off 2024 with a bang.

Seniors:

Get after it as this is the time to be attending ID Camps for schools on your radar. Don’t wait and think you’ll just get in at the last second. This is college not club soccer.

Juniors:

Now is the time as well to get to some ID Camps and start emailing coaches as well as filling out questionnaires on school websites. Don’t wait till spring on your senior year to get started.

As long as you plan ahead you will be ahead. Don’t don’t wait.

Any College coaches or advisers, would love to hear from you in the comments.

Please follow if you enjoy the content and it helps you.

DM if you need any help or guidance, I’m always around.

Happy New Year, and Get After it.

Perspective time…….🤔🧐

Would you rather……..?

Sit on the bench of a great team?

Or

Play a full game on an ok team?

With many athletes playing high level in soccer these days and all the alphabet soup leagues, so many young players thing they have what it takes to play high level however in most cases are completely ok with sitting on the bench of a great team rather than playing on an ok team and getting the experience.

I’d like to hear from you guys in the comments. What would YOU rather do?

Keep Going!

Should you Attend?

Every camp has its place in your journey to attend a college program.

Whether you’re a freshman or a senior, camps are vital for you to self assess, or to help get you recruited. It depends on where you are in your particular journey

Freshman - Skills and ID Clinics are best for you to start assessing by how you are at that level. It’s not necessary important to attend ID Camps for college recruitment that early.

Sophomores - ID Clinics and Camps are helpful to begin getting on coaches radars depending if you want to attend a particular school or program.

Juniors - ID Camps are a necessity for you at this year so you can begin narrowing down your search for a school or program that way you’re hitting application deadlines and potential recruiting classes by your senior year.

Seniors - ID Camps are pivotal if you haven’t attended them early in your career, it’s best to attend any and all levels if you are starting late into your journey, don’t disregard anything, any offer is a offer, if it keeps you playing and allows you to attend college and further your education and playing career. Transfer portals are very hot right now. Put in the reps and look to transfer if you can.

Hope this helps.

Keep Going! ⚽️🫡🫡

Can’t win them all.

I’ve always told myself no matter the situation never give up. It’s easy to say “it’s too hard” it’s easy to say “I don’t HAVE to be doing this” but then where is the joy in seeing success at the end of a hard fought challenge.

Taking on this group is an amazing challenge and with patience and dedication they will be successful.

Everyone wants the success but no one wants to ever work for it. Success come from hard work.

Heads down, effort up.

All based on Merit.

Another chance to prove doing what I love to do! Coaching.

First official friendly in the books.

@merit_sc 2 - 0 Blues

The prep continues and never stop learning and growing. Looking forward to new challenges.

Was sad to hear the passing of Peter Cullen - legendary voice of Optimus Prime, but there’s never more truer words that he spoke than how I try to lead:

“Be strong enough to be gentle”

Heads down, effort up.

All based on Merit.

Step by step we walk in time.

Gotta focus up as we head towards our biggest challenge yet. We are planning for the Texas D1 Title mini playoff.

The hardest road gives the biggest reward. Nothing comes easy.

Want to thank everyone for supporting us through this journey!

Not done yet.

Couldn’t do it alone. Big thanks to @coachmichaelalan and @baldemar.silva_ and @djibaoumar as well our admin @m.gk.vzla18 for standing by my side.
