Do you really need a doula if your partner is amazing?

Partners need support, too!

My goal is to help your partner feel more confident.

I remind them to eat, rest, and stay hydrated. I show them comfort techniques, encourage them when they’re unsure, and step in so they can take a bathroom break or go grab something to eat without worrying about leaving you alone.

Many partners tell me afterward that having a Doula allowed them to simply be present instead of feeling like they had to know everything!

💕 What questions do you have about labor, birth, or postpartum? I’d love to answer them!

💕 There is nothing quite like this moment...

Planning a 2027 baby?

It may seem early...but if you're hoping to have continuous, personalized support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, now is a wonderful time to begin the conversation.

Because I believe every family deserves my full attention, I intentionally accept only a limited number of birth clients each month. That means my calendar often begins filling months before babies arrive.

When you hire me, you're not just adding someone to your birth team for labor day.

You're gaining someone who will walk beside you throughout your pregnancy - answering questions, easing fears, helping you prepare, supporting your partner, and ensuring you feel informed, respected, and truly cared for.

Whether your goal is an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a planned cesarean, an induction, a VBAC, or you're simply not sure what to expect, my role is never to tell you what to do.

My role is to support your choices with calm, evidence-based guidance and compassionate care.

If you're expecting in late 2026 or planning a 2027 baby, I'd love to meet you.

If you are expecting sooner and have been on the fence about hiring a doula, it's not too late to call!

📍 Serving families throughout Midcoast and Southern Maine.

💛 Personalized, relationship-centered labor, postpartum, lactation, and whole-family support.

Send me a message or schedule a complimentary consultation. I'd be honored to be part of your journey.

Becoming a parent is one of the most beautiful transitions in life.

It's also one of the hardest.

The truth is, even when your baby is deeply loved and wanted, it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, touched out, uncertain, or simply in need of a break.

That doesn't make you a bad parent.

It makes you human.

I've recently had the privilege of supporting a family with newborn twins, and it's been another reminder that no one is meant to do this alone. We were never meant to carry the weight of new parenthood without a village.

Postpartum support isn't about someone taking your place.

It's about giving you the space to be the parent you want to be.

✨ Take a nap without listening for every little sound.
✨ Spend one-on-one time with older siblings.
✨ Go for a walk with your partner.
✨ Enjoy a date night without worrying.
✨ Take a shower, read a book, or simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.
✨ Or maybe you just need another adult to talk to while you process this enormous life change.

When parents are cared for, babies thrive.
When the whole family is supported, everyone benefits.

Whether you're welcoming your first baby, adjusting to twins, or adding another little one to your family, you don't have to do it all alone.

I'd be honored to help lighten the load, offer encouragement, and remind you that you're doing better than you think. ❤️

If you or someone you love is expecting, let's talk about how postpartum support can help your whole family flourish.

Fatherhood deserves honoring...

In the birth world, so much of the focus naturally centers on the birthing person - and rightly so. But today, I want to pause and recognize the fathers, partners, and support people who show up with love, vulnerability, and deep devotion.

I see you. 💕

I see the nervous pacing in labor rooms.
The hand-holding through contractions.
The quiet tears when you first meet your baby.
The late-night rocking, diaper changes, bottle prep, and whispered “we’ve got this.”

Becoming a parent transforms everyone.

One of the things I value most about my work as a doula is that I don’t support just one person ~ I support the whole family.

That means helping partners feel informed, confident, and included.
It means creating space for questions, fears, emotions, and growth.
It means honoring every family structure, every feeding journey, and every unique path into parenthood.

When the whole family feels supported, everyone benefits!

To all the fathers, dads, stepdads, grandfathers, and loving partners helping hold families together:

Happy Father’s Day. Your love and presence makes such a difference! 🥰

I've been quiet lately....

Not because I didn't have anything to say, but because my body was asking me to listen.

I've been recovering from Lyme disease. 😈

As someone who spends much of her time caring for others, slowing down isn't easy. But this experience has reminded me that healing often requires us to accept support, rest, and give our bodies what they need.

For me, that has meant taking the prescribed antibiotic treatment (something I haven't needed since college!), while also supporting my recovery with anti-inflammatory foods, hydration, gentle movement, stretching, and plenty of rest.

I've also chosen to participate in a Lyme disease research study. If my experience can help researchers better understand why some people recover quickly while others struggle with long-term symptoms, it feels like a meaningful way to contribute.

This experience has reminded me how powerful the basics can be...
It's also reinforced something I believe deeply in my work: wellness doesn't happen in isolation. We heal best when we feel supported, informed, and cared for.

Whether I'm helping a family prepare for birth, supporting parents through the postpartum transition, offering lactation guidance, or working with clients on nutrition and wellness goals, my approach has always been the same - to support the whole person and the whole family, meeting them where they are with compassion, practical guidance, and encouragement.

As I return to work, I'm grateful and excited to continue supporting families and individuals throughout Midcoast Maine.

Here's to healing, resilience, and taking good care of ourselves ~ and each other! 💕

💙 I am currently accepting new clients for birth and postpartum doula services, lactation/feeding support and Integrative Health Coaching throughout Midcoast Maine. I honor all family structures and birthing preferences!
