Yesterday was a BIG day for Coast City!

We officially announced the launch of Coast City Leadership College, something that has been in our hearts and prayers for a long time.

The Church at large is facing a real leadership gap, but we don’t just see a problem. We see an opportunity! We believe the next generation of pastors and leaders are already in our churches, and we want to help raise them up!

CCLC is a full-immersion program where young adults who sense a call to ministry will serve hands-on at Coast City, grow in leadership, be mentored by our team, and pursue an academic pathway through Life Pacific University or Vanguard University.

Our heart is simple: Raise them up. Train them in real ministry. Send them out ready to lead the Church for generations!

And our whole church gets to be part of it through hosting, giving, praying, volunteering, and believing in the next generation.

Building Leaders. Transforming Generations.

Planting seeds of faith that we know will last a lifetime!!

This season, so many families will walk into church for the very first time. And for a lot of kids, Coast City Kids will be the place they first hear how much Jesus loves them!

We need more smiling faces to make that happen. Greeters, check-in, small group helpers, worship leaders, and snack heroes! No experience needed. Just a heart for kids and a willingness to show up! We are unapologetic that everyone serving with any kids at any age, our background checked for the protection of our kiddos!

Serving in Kids isn’t babysitting. It’s helping shape the next generation to know and love Jesus! 🎉

Ready to jump in? [DM us / sign up at the link in our bio / stop by the Kids check-in this Sunday] and we’ll help you find your spot! 🫶🏽

To decide means to cut off your return!
God never called you to pick up your mat just to make it a bed you’ll return to later.
Pick up your mat. Leave the old behind. Move forward into everything God has called you to! 👏🏽👏🏽 taken in Coast City Church by @coastcityca

We are SO incredibly grateful for every volunteer who makes Coast City feel like home! 🙌🏾 Every week our teams show up early, stay late, and pour out the love of Jesus in ways you might not even notice. We wanted to hear from one of our very own, so meet Kelly, one of the amazing leaders on our Connections Team! Here’s why serving matters to her 👇🏽

“Serving in Connections at Coast City has been such a blessing! It can be hard walking into a new church, so getting to be a welcoming smile or a prayer partner for someone has been so rewarding. And honestly, there is nothing better than serving Jesus and getting to watch my adult daughter do the same thing. There’s no greater joy than seeing her have a heart to serve!”

Kelly, thank you for loving our people so well!

Want to be part of what God is doing here? There’s a place for YOU on a team! Stop by the Connections table this Sunday and we’ll help you find your spot! taken in Coast City Church by @coastcityca

PARENTS! BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT COAST CITY YOUTH! 🙌🏾

Coast City Youth is growing, and we’re so excited to share some changes happening in this next season!

Middle School and High School have officially split into their own spaces!

Our heart behind this change is simple. We want to create intentional environments where students can grow in their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and be surrounded by leaders who are invested in their lives!

We know middle school and high school are two very different seasons of life, and we want to make room for each group to be encouraged, challenged, and discipled in ways that meet them right where they are.

Our youth leaders have been praying, preparing, and making room for all that God is going to do. We believe the best is ahead for this generation, and we’re so thankful we get to partner with YOU in raising up students who love Jesus and live boldly for Him!

HERE’S WHERE TO FIND US!

📍 High School | The Current

📍 Middle School | Upper Auditorium

🕖 7–9 PM | Wednesdays at Coast City Church

Coasties, it’s time to get up off the mat! 🔥

Sunday’s message from Acts 9 was a reminder that Jesus never heals us just so we can stay where we’ve been. He heals us so we can MOVE! So we can show up for people, fill the room with hope, and walk right into what God is already doing!

And sometimes that means slowing down. Putting down the busy. Being available long enough to see who God is putting in front of you.

So here’s your challenge this week: Get up. Show up. Slow down. 🙌🏾

Somebody at your job, in your neighborhood, or even in your own home needs the hope you carry. Don’t miss it!

Save these notes, read Acts 9:32–43 this week, and let’s watch what God does through us, Coast City! 💛
