Here at Coastin’ we strive to make your transition as seamless as possible. Way before the heavy lifting begins, we’re with you every step of the way during our process to provide any reassurance you may need.

Hiring professional movers can come with a cost, but what’s it compared to a DIY move? Let’s check it out!

Here are some factors we broke down :

1. Your time ⏰ : What you thought would take a few hours can easily turn into an entire day. You still have new utilities to set up, addresses to up date, and deadlines to meet.

2. Truck & equipment rentals 🚚 Truck rental, insurance, dollies, moving blankets, straps, and other supplies add up quickly.

3. Damaged furniture 🛋️ One mistake can mean replacing or repairing something that cost hundreds or thousands.

4. Property damage 🏠 Incorrectly mounted TV’s, Scratched floors, damaged walls, broken door frames, or damaged stairways can become unexpected expenses.

5. Injuries 💪 A pulled back or serious injury can cost far more than hiring help in the first place. Placing yourself out of work can be stressful at the start of a move.

6. The stress factor 😮‍💨 Coordinating friends and family, lifting everything yourself, driving the truck, and getting everything unloaded is a lot to manage.

7. The “I should’ve hired movers” feeling 😂 Sometimes is the biggest cost. Halfway through you’re now checking for local moving company rates 🤦‍♂️

Bottom line: DIY might look cheaper upfront, but what’s your time, safety, and peace of mind worth? Move with confidence. Move with Coastin’ 💙 by @coastinllc
