✈️ New album “Days Passed” out today :) First full release I’ve mixed myself, I wanted more “chill” songs, and a bedroom vibe. The opening track on the record is the first demo I ever recorded in high school. A couple firsts, ha. “Run Like Hell” came out this past Friday. 🎧 This record spans a lot of time and places and people, a large accumulation of things. A lot of relationships came full circle, and the songs evolved over time with their influences. I need to thank Isaac Karns for his hand in mixing it all (he was so patient with me on a rough vocal day, and added so much to the songs when we were in the studio with his ideas); Chris Robinson, Zach Shrieber, Mark Ventura, Tony Kuchma, and Doug Sutton - all of them brought so much to several of the songs through many band practice and shows, making them what they are today. Could not ask for better bandmates. Noah Waspe wrote all the lyrics for Drakkar Noir and added a few lines to Shrug It Off - his talents are many, and I’m honored that he keeps putting up with me sending him every single demo and different mix of songs along the way, giving helpful feedback and brilliant ideas. Luke Taylor shot the cover art, and has contributed so much with his photography skills, I love his work, go hire that man. Karl Spaeth put the finishing graphic touches to the CD layout and cover, 🙏 thank you Karl. Many of the songs wouldn’t be possible without Ian McAfee, my best friend since second grade. When he moved away to Portland, it hit me hard, and I wrote the song Run Like Hell (from his POV). He even came up with some of the key dynamic moments in the song Honest August. I reference our old band Math Blaster a lot in Punxsutawney. He’s always on my mind when I’m writing music, such a big influence in my life. This album is dedicated to him. 🚨 Our album release show is on November 21st at Northside Tavern. Playing with Ascension Day and JV Golf. $10. 9PM. Henry Wilson and Mark Ventura will be joining Chris, Zack, and myself. Come out! We’re gonna have merch, CDs and TShirts for the first time. Anyways, give the album a spin, and sham on!
