We stopped by Pony’s on opening day and immediately loved the charm and energy of the space.

With thoughtfully curated decor and plenty of pops of red, it’s a lovely new spot for spritzes, small plates, and so much more we can’t wait to try.

We started with fresh seasonal tomatoes and bread served with a generous slab of decadent chive butter, because you really can’t go wrong with tomatoes this time of year. The seasonal spritz came highly recommended, and the menu has plenty of well-crafted cocktails and wines to choose from, too.

Another lovely addition to Red Hook’s ever-growing food and drink scene. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Save the date! 🎉 The Atlantic Antic™ is back for its 51st year on Sunday, October 4!

One of Brooklyn’s favorite traditions is taking over Atlantic Avenue from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue with more than a mile of food, shopping, live music, entertainment and family fun.

@cobblehillcollective is proud to be a media partner again this year!

This year, expect hundreds of local vendors, three dedicated kids’ areas with activities like bounce houses, pony rides and face painting, free live entertainment throughout the day, and the return of the Antic Sing competition, where contestants can take the stage with songs from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and 2000s

When: Sunday, September 27 from 12:00pm-6:00pm
📍 Atlantic Avenue, Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue

Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate 51 years of Brooklyn’s oldest and largest street festival! 🎈

Confidant has officially landed in the neighborhood and it’s already making serious noise. After closing its original home in Industry City, the team has taken over the former Colonie space and brought with it a menu that feels both comforting and elevated.

We had to try the famous prawn pot pie, which arrives at the table steaming, filled with a creamy prawn chowder. The trout mousse, delicately piped onto sourdough, is as beautiful as it is flavorful, and the crudo is bright, fresh, and welcome on a cold winter evening. The pastas are rich and comforting, and the cabbage with horseradish and leeks proves the vegetarian main can absolutely hold its own.

And then there’s dessert. Pastry chef Mariah Neston, formerly of Le Rock and Major Food Group, is behind a lineup that makes it very easy to justify saving room.

The space is already buzzing, and there’s more to look forward to with Lou & Bev’s set to open next door in the former Pips space. They’ll be serving as a bakery by day and pizza and wine bar by night.

Have you stopped by yet, or what’s first on your list to try?
