"The Boy" wasn't exactly what I expected it to be, but actually it was even better than I expected.
Little spoiler alert! I really loved the twist related horror genre switch which is imho really hard to apply without harming the movie.
I also loved the natural way the characters communicated and the logic behind their actions - something I haven't seen in newer movies for ages.
And again I found it thanks to @cobwebschannel which an endless supply of the great movie suggestions 🔥

There might be a couple of movies with slightly better acting and a tighter storyline out there, but if you want an ultimate in killer clown experience with absolutely stunning visuals and amazing special effects, then this Chiodo Brothers' masterpiece is for you! 🤡

"Frankenstein" always been my favourite Hammer's franchise because it focuses on the doctor instead the creature.
I love "The Revenge of Frankenstein" mostly because of it's unusual for the time ending. In my opinion it definitely gave birth to the "ever escaping cynical mad scientist antihero" archetype which gave us Jeffrey Combs' Herbert West almost 30vyears later!

It's this time of the year again 🎃 So I thought of expanding my last year's top 10 horror movies to the top 20. Not because I wanna go for top 100, but because it could be more interesting to go outside the "absolute must" slashers and aliens.
So let's start with "The Relic", a 90' monster movie I recently found thanks to @cobwebschannel
It's not only the monster and closed space scenario which perfectly worked out for me, but mostly the good written characters of which you don't really see that much this days.
