I wanted to post a transition update for my 1 year post op for top and figured I'd show some personality and make a video 😂

Some of the transition goals I talk about will take a few years to accomplish. So I guess I also want to keep track of that journey. It's going to be a LONG and HARD (pun intended heh) road ahead. But idk I need this and no matter what happens, I WILL find a way. Scary world be damned 😂

The only two goals I didn't talk about were: 1) wanting to get the loose skin from rapid weight loss off my stomach. I'd consider that part of my transition, but we'll see if everything I need aligns for that

And 2) I want to work on training my voice more. I often forget to do it, because I get embarrassed. There's a bit of a tuning period where I sound kinda dumb and forced, until my throat muslces or whatever settle/relax into it. But I would like to get better with that by @cobruh_kai

Finally did a little photoshoot!! Had to take new flyer pics since it's been over a year. My body has changed, my drag has elevated, and I felt like showing off my scars a little too 🥰 by @cobruh_kai

The power of Christ compels you to come over at Paradise on Wednesday October 28th for an Exorcist themed drag show! Come watch the movie, sip on themed cocktails, and rock out to songs from the musical! Yes, The Exorcist was turned into a parody rock musical, and yes it’s as raunchy as you think it is. Do not come to this show expecting our usual cute musicals. Please come in the Halloween spirit, and get blissfully offended by the nonsense. A whacky night hosted by E. LicksHer, and featuring the frightful cast: Cobruh Kai, Cherri Leigh Sundae, Paprika, Milani, X’aya-T, Blake Harley, and Blazy Susan! Show’s at 8, but bar opens at 7pm so you can get baked goods from Daniis Delights and check out those drink specials! Dont forget about the $10 cash cover (FREE for VIP cardholders), and of course no theme night is complete without a cameo by Lee Lee with the Prevention Resource Network! She provides live demonstrations and FREE harm reduction tools. Everything from earplugs to test strips to condoms to narcan!

Oh…is now a good time to warn you about the splash zone? 😈😈😈 by @cobruh_kai

Made this outfit from scratch 😘 Drafted the pattern and sewed it up myself ❤️ I took this photoset a while back but haven't gotten around to posting them. Everyone's posting for valentine's day, so there's my excuse 😂 by @cobruh_kai

Ahhh walking this runway for @christurkswim was SO MUCH FUN!! This dorky little trans guy got to feel SO EUPHORIC and happy doing this 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 I tried looking cool going down the runway, but hearing my friends cheer for me made me smile too much 😂

I'm always so grateful for these opportunities the people in my community offer me ❤️

I've been asked a lot what my favorite thing about drag is, and my answer will always be my community. I made this video as part of a project, but wanted to share my feelings about you all, with you all. Drag and the community around it has been life saving for me in every way. The people I've met have supported me at all possible angles. Be it offering me resources, emotional support, talking with me, throwing me fun celebrations, coming to my shows, or hanging out and dancing with me at what I've been calling the Paradise Family Reunions™️ - I've never felt so much love in my life despite what's happening in the world, and I deeply cherish the joy this love continues to bring. I hope to do everything I can to love, fight for, and give back to this community that's been fighting so hard for me. taken in Asbury Park, New Jersey by @cobruh_kai

🐍 The making of Cobruh Kai 🐍

I filmed (almost) my entire process of putting together a drag number. The outfit alone took 65 hours to complete, 24,480 total stones, and a 24 hour final stretch where I didn't sleep and only stoned 😭 I made/embellished everything on my body. Being crafty with as much as I can for my drag is important to me. The more of it I make myself, the more personal and meaningful it feels to finally bring it to stage. I don't think I would be Cobruh if my look didn't include crafty/DIY elements to it.

All this was incredibly worth it though. Not only am I ecstatic with how the look came out, the whole number has become one of my more meaningful ones that I plan on continuing to do. by @cobruh_kai
