Let’s just start by saying first and foremost, God is good! To say I knew this was gonna happen, how it happened and when it happened couldn’t be a more false statement!

God really put me in place to receive this amazing opportunity and through the support and training of my tribe I was ready to walk into it! The weekend of the BET Awards, my cohort and I hit the ground running and was given the dynamic job of being the reinforcements to @bet Fantastic production crew. Getting to be apart of the Magic that happened was nothing less than mind blowing! If you know me you know why this is much more than just a job with photo ops! This is an answered prayer and a manifestation of all of the people that that have poured into me and pushed me into my dreams!

My BETNEXTGEN Family was so welcoming and facilitated a space of love support and strong guidance under the fearless leadership of @ekthemogul!

If Award weekend was just the start then I’m sure that this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership for me w/ the BET Family! taken in Los Angeles, California by @coby_jenkins_

Two cousins. One house. Years of unfinished business.

What starts as a simple clean-out turns into a confrontation with grief, memory, and the ties that bind—and break—a family. As Gil and Cordae sort through what’s left behind, they’re forced to face the past, each other, and the question of what “home” really means when the person holding it all together is gone.
