Was so much fun performing for the Rio Tinto Finance Awards at the always magic @matildabayweddings ✨ the client wanted my sets to feature music from 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years ago before the corresponding awards for those years of service to the company. It was so fun putting the set-lists together and believe me when I tell you I was shocked to realise that some of my fav tunes were released in 1996 which was, in fact, 30 years ago 😂🫣

Special thank you to the darling @siannemcdonald for always recommending me 🙋🏼‍♀️💜

Firstly, here is a selfie to hopefully reach more people 😂💁🏼‍♀️

Secondly, and the reason for this post, I have a little side hustle I’ve been working on that I thought I’d finally share… 🏡✨

I recently started managing Airbnb/short-stay properties (not just my own home) and I’m really enjoying it! I currently look after three properties around Perth, and I also styled two properties myself — so apparently I’ve added Airbnb management AND interior design to my resume 😂

I’d love to grow this business, so I’m putting it out there to my network cause you never know 🤞🏻

If you know anyone who has an Airbnb/short-stay property and is looking for someone to take care of the day-to-day management, or someone who is thinking about getting into short stays and needs help setting it up and styling it, please think of me! ☺️

Being a solo mum, I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities and ways to build my income/work around family life and flexible hours, so every referral, introduction or random “you should talk to Coby” is very much appreciated. ❤️

Swipe right for one property I styled (mine that I rent in summer to help pay the mortgage) and check my stories for a beautiful inner city apartment I set up as well.

Giving something a crack cause why not! Thinking of calling it “Elevated Stays” but open to suggestions cause my strengths are interpersonal and organisational skills, NOT branding 😂 by @cobygrantmusic

One of the most breathtaking set ups I have ever seen for this very special 50th Birthday celebration a few weeks ago at @matildabayweddings. Flowers and styling by the insanely talented @signaturefloraldesign (Annaliese I will never get over this one and I’ve seen a lot of your incredible artistry!). Not shown, the dancefloor and karaoke antics that followed dinner - huge vibes 🥰✨💃🏼

I often get asked for makeup artist recommendations, so here are some pics of my painted face and the absolute magicians who transform me from tired working single mum to an absolute vision of beauty and grace. Just for the night of course, then it’s back to having a great personality 😂

2019, recording tracks live at a beautiful studio in The Netherlands for my last album release. This track is called “Home”, co-written with my mate @jaimifaulkner and it is about the sometimes lonely journey of figuring out where that was for me. In the end, as my Mama predicted, it turned out to be who ❤️

Forever grateful to the talented musicians and engineers who brought these songs to life @jack.vandeven @jaimifaulkner @joost_kroon @clemensblacquiere @marco_dirne and @paulvdgeijn

It’s been a long time since I focused on original music, life changed and all of a sudden I had something bigger to spend my money on, starting a family via IVF. Being an independent musician is expensive and with platforms like Spotify paying hardly anything, those costs can only be recouped by touring. So, once I moved back to Australia it became hard to justify recording again (financially). I have enough songs for a new album, so maybe one day 🥰

This photo shoot was about 16 years ago, shot in Footscray (Melbourne) for my first produced full length album. 24 years old. I’m glad I’ll always have them. I’m glad I gave it all a crack. Feeling a bit nostalgic about my music and travel so might dive in and look back over the years. 24 year old Coby was a vibe and I’m proud of her. No way I would have had the courage to have a baby on my own if it wasn’t for this young woman moving across the country and then the world chasing dreams - taking it all on with guts and determination and youthful optimism and so 👏🏻 much 👏🏻 energy 👏🏻😂 I’m tired just remembering 😂😴 by @cobygrantmusic
