Love my life as a mom and a musician, spending time with my friends and rock the shit out of knitting! Enjoy these little snapshots of my life.

Looking back at all the special moments of @castlefest ...
We celebrated 20 years of @keltenzondergrenzen . Of course we prepared by thinking of our favorite memories and looking back at old photos. It feels like time traveling. I can't believe how much we experienced and it has only been twenty years. At the same time: twenty years!!!! Hoe dan???

We feel honoured and blessed that all of our friends took time from their busy lives to join us on stage!! Finishing our set with a grand total of 16 musicians!!! We felt so much friendship and joy!
And I may or may not have accidentally sung a wee snippet of 'total Eclipse of the heart'... 😁

Lies and I were asked to partake in the wicker ritual. What an honour and great responsibility to be one of the elements. This moment means so much to so many people...
Beforehand I had a million emotions, anticipation, feeling a bit wobbly...but once my torch was lit I only felt quiet, community, love and an overwhelming power.
What an amazing wonder to feel so closely connected to so many people all at once! I'm still glowing a bit more bright on the inside...

And then there were all the friends, new and old, all the great moments, an interview, playing tune for Nora for Nora in the audience (no longer a baby, but a teen with an attitude...), five million kazoos, braiding flowers into hair (iykyk), late night talks, early morning pre-coffee chats...and much more!!!
Thank you Femke , Ricky, Mark van der Stelt and Natasja Marchal for inviting us. 🩷
Thank you my dear Kelten clan! Sophie, Richard, Pim van Heusden Too many guests to tag... 🩵🩵
Thank you fellow elements of 2026, Fieke, Caroline and Rob van Barschot. You made this ritual even more meaningful! ♥️🔥♥️

And last but not least a big thanks to Lies, great friend, partner in crime, fellow Kelt, cosmic twin...let's make some Epic plans for the next twenty years!!! 💚🪉💚🪉

So much for the few lines of gratitude I was planning to leave... by @cocameisje
