Last night brought Western Australia and South Australia together through independent Australian design, creativity and connection. I’m so excited to finally share this.

I’m incredibly proud to be featured in Cocktail Revolution in a story about my journey into modelling, representation and what it means to be seen in fashion as a woman with a disability.

There’s something pretty exciting seeing yourself featured in a fashion publication — especially when the story is about so much more than a photograph.

From competing at the Paralympics, to building businesses, travelling the world, playing para ice hockey and now stepping into modelling, I’ve never been very good at staying in the box people expected me to fit into.

And honestly… I don’t plan on starting now.

What I love most about this story is that it talks about visibility. About seeing disabled women represented as women who are ambitious, fashionable, powerful, successful and simply enjoying fashion — while also being unapologetically themselves.

I want young disabled girls to see these images and think:

“I can do that too.”

Thank you to Cocktail Revolution for giving me the space to share my story and for seeing me as more than my disability.

This is another chapter in the story — and I’m only just getting started.
