For the past year we've been hosting a daily livestreaming on Facebook making cocktail recipes. Since the one year anniversary will be in less than 10 days on April 8th we thought we should give Instagram a chance to see what goes on at 3:30pm each day. (link in bio)

This recipe comes from @orlandofranklin which was featured in the cocktail book Easy Tiki by @chloefrechette. Featuring Reposado tequila, banana, passionfruit, fresh lemon juice, and orgeat.

Over the next few days leading up to the 1 year celebration we will be giving you more demonstrations here on Instagram so stay tuned. ✌ by @cocktailtutorial

After doing livestreams for 342 consecutive days; making cocktail recipes from all over the globe, @carlypdx_716 announced that this hunuhununukukuapua'a from @cocktailgeek was the "perfect cocktail". 👏

With flavors of almond, pineapple, lemon, Peychauds, and gin, this refreshing drink is a must try.

The recipe is featured in @smugglerscovesf book and should be purchased for any lover of Tiki cocktails.

Just getting around to posting this togo cocktail experience from @mixtresspdx over at @bithousecollective.

Texan Walks Into a Bar

This carbonated cocktail looks opulent in the glass. With a dark red hue contrasted by the bright green mint garnish. To resist the urge to drink it would be foolish.

The aroma is predominantly mint with a hint of cherry cola.

The taste blasts off like a fizzy bottle cap candy, reminiscent of black cherry cola. With a bright acidity and a slightly bitter finish.

This drink rocks! I think the base spirit is a lighter style rum. Perhaps a column still? Could be clarified lime juice or malic acid. Not exactly sure where the black cherry comes from.

After tasting and looking at the drink I believe my eyes have deceived me. What looked to be serious, full bodied, and spirit forward was instead a fun, sparkling, lower abv with a nod to the nostalgic past.

You can buy this drink for togo with purchase of food or you can enjoy it at the bar with limited seating. Stay tuned for more drinks and recipes in the future. For live cocktail demonstrations and reviews check the link in bio. taken in Portland, Oregon by @cocktailtutorial
