I designed and painted this mural for @lululemon in Glendale, CA back in April. So grateful for this opportunity and the awesome people I got to work with from start to finish . #muralist #muralpainter #zibrabrush #glendale #lululemon #handpainted #mural #abstractmural #artistsoninstagram #muralism #hardedgepainting #officemural by @coco.nella

I’m a painter not a writer so please imagine that you are reading a very insightful & engaging caption about this mural I painted earlier this year🤣 I hope this day is treating you well & thanks for all your continued love and support. #muralist #losangelesmurals #muralism taken in Los Angeles, California by @coco.nella

I will probably delete this and replace with good, actual photos. But I wanted to share this moment that I did shed a rare tear, because the scaffolding came down and the light hit this mural exactly how I planned 🥹 #muralist #muralism #passionflower taken in Citadel Outlets by @coco.nella

I’m so excited and happy and relieved… I finally finished a project that challenged me like no other. Grateful to @yaicecream @insomniart @handpaintedbyray for helping me at different stages of this install- and everyone else who made it possible for me to see this through. Can’t wait to share the actual final project but here are some teasers. #muralist #muralism #lamurals taken in Los Angeles, California by @coco.nella

Nostalgia is such an anchoring feeling when life gets super extra wild and uncertain. #muralist #lamuralist #muralism #nostalgia taken in Los Angeles, California by @coco.nella

Women are capable of anything and everything !!!! I might be working off pure fumes and the desire to push through everyone who has tried to step in the way of me succeeding; but deep down I know there is nobody I need to prove myself to. So those are some facts and here is the mural I’m working on rn. #muralist #muralism #handpainted by @coco.nella

Here’s some work I’ve been putting in at the studio lately. The first piece titled “The Shape of her Silence” is currently on view and for sale at @thebunkerslo. As you look at the piece certain elements start to emerge like a woman’s face turned sideways, an ornate iron gate, and a lock on a chain. The last slide is my first attempt but when I got about 75% of the way through it, I realized that it was getting to be too spelled out which is kind of the opposite of the feeling I wanted to convey. Very grateful to be able to pour into my studio work more between murals so I can tune in better to my own voice and vision. Much love and thanks for following along ✌️ #studioart #contemporaryart #streetart #dtla #womeninart by @coco.nella

Nerd Alert 🚨I used to build architectural models for a living and that continues to influence the way I approach mural design #muralist #muralism #lamuralist #artprocess taken in Los Angeles, California by @coco.nella

Making some progress on this commission. These doors are 100 year-old relics from Downtown LA. This is the second pair that were rescued from storage and I am now turning into wall art. I overlapped a bunch of photos I took from the neighborhood to create the composition. Stay tuned for the final. ✌️ #downtownlosangeles #artcommission #muralist #historiccore #dtla taken in Downtown Los Angeles by @coco.nella

Art is the ripple effect of one creative act inspiring another. When I saw this wall peaking out onto Fairfax Ave, I knew I wanted to create something that got people curious about their surroundings enough to slow down and engage beyond the obvious. #muralartist #lamurals #streetartla #streetartdaily #laartist taken in Hollywood, California by @coco.nella
