Pom-poms and stardust ✨

A soft cream dress scattered with tiny gold stars, finished with a crocheted lace collar, a floppy lace bow and ruffles edged in peach. Then two golden pom-poms, just for fun.

Serious face, soft dress ✨

Don't let the stare fool you. I'm very serious about modelling, but this velvet is so soft I nearly fell asleep between shots.

The stars on my skirt were my idea. The collar was Mum's. The bow is non-negotiable.

Mint to be 🍃

A quiet morning in the garden with the wisteria in full bloom, petals all over the cobblestones, and one curly girl sits here, feeling the minty breeze.

Pardon me, is this the way to the ball? 🎀

I’ve got my pearls on, my bow is straight, and my skirt goes poof in all the right places. Someone left petals on the floor for me, which was very thoughtful.
I’ll just wait here in the middle of this fancy circle until the carriage arrives. Please don’t tell me it’s only a walk.

I think I just saw a butterfly 🦋

It was right there, by the roses. Then it was gone. I've been sitting very still on this path waiting for it to come back, because that's what good girls do.

Mum says I don't need to look so hard. She says there are butterflies all over my dress, pink ones and lavender ones, fluttering across the blue. I've checked twice and I'm still not convinced. Real butterflies don't sit still for photos.
