I think my 32nd delivery, started my 8am- 8pm shift and got in the room by 8:30pm before 10am we had the baby! Lovely woman and husband and baby girl 🥹💗🙏🏾👶🏾🍼

Three years of becoming.

Becoming a midwife, yes — but also becoming a different version of myself. 🤍

From leaving my first proper “big girl” job to start university, figuring out how to balance studying, content creation and life, navigating placements, exams, setbacks, long days, early mornings and everything in between…

There were moments I felt confident.

Moments I felt completely overwhelmed.

Moments I laughed until my stomach hurt with my friends.

And moments I cried and questioned whether I was really going to make it to the end.

But somehow, through every version of those three years, I kept going.

And now I get to say something I once only dreamed about:

I’m a Qualified Midwife. 🩺🎓

Alhamdulillah for the journey. For the people who carried me when I needed it. For the lessons hidden inside the difficult moments. For the strength I found along the way.

Looking back at these memories feels surreal because I can see just how much changed between the girl who started and the woman who finished.

Three years. So many memories. So many lessons.

And so much more to come.

I’ve been keeping a secret….🥹💖💙✨

Today, I finally get to share something that has been years in the making.

Alhamdulillah, I am officially a Qualified Midwife. 🤍

Three years ago, I began this journey with excitement, nerves and a lot of uncertainty. I had no idea just how much this profession would shape me—not only as a student, but as a woman and as a person.

There were moments that really tested me beyond what I thought I could handle. Long placements. Early mornings. Night shifts. Exams. Resits. Self-doubt. Tears. Prayers. Sacrifices. Moments where I questioned whether I was enough & I should just quit.

But through every high and every low, Allah carried me.

Looking back now, I realise every setback had a purpose. Every delay taught me patience. Every challenge strengthened my faith. Every woman, baby and family I had the privilege of caring for taught me something that no textbook ever could.

To my loved ones my mum, hubby, family, friends, lecturers, mentors, fellow students and everyone who knew and was there for me—thank you. Your encouragement meant more than you’ll ever know.

And above all, Alhamdulillah. Every achievement belongs to Allah first. Without Him, none of this would have been possible.

This is more than receiving a qualification. It’s the beginning of a new chapter, one where I hope to care for women with compassion, dignity and excellence while continuing to grow both professionally and spiritually.

I’ve kept this part of my life relatively quiet, but I’m finally ready to share it. Over the coming weeks and months, I’ll be opening up about the real journey behind becoming a midwife—the highs, the lows, the lessons, the moments that changed me, and everything in between.

Thank you for being here.

10 YEARS OF YOUTUBE. 🎂🎥🤎

10 years ago today, on 4 September 2016, I pressed upload for the first time.

And honestly… I had NO idea what I was starting.

I didn’t know where YouTube would take me. I didn’t know how many times I’d disappear, come back, change, grow, doubt myself, find myself again, or completely change the kind of content I wanted to create.

But somehow, ten years later… I’m still here. 🥹

10 years of videos.
10 years of memories.
10 years of learning.
10 years of figuring it out.
10 years of being brave enough to press record, even when I didn’t feel confident.

And no, the journey hasn’t looked exactly how I imagined it would.

There were moments I questioned whether I was doing enough. Whether I was growing fast enough. Whether I should even continue.

But today, I’m choosing to celebrate the fact that I started. I kept creating. And I never completely gave up on the girl who dreamed of becoming a creator.

So here’s to 10 years of Cocoaimssk. 🤎

And to the next chapter… because baby, we’re only getting started. 🎀
