The countdown begins for @itsvoguesss On The Terrace at the @delawarr with @badgeruk

Buzzing to have managed to book @elenacolombi amongst their super busy international touring schedule, playing the likes of P Bar & Dekmantel to bring that quality to the coast. We think hearing them play whilst looking out over the sea is gonna be such a moment.

We’ve also invited coastal legends @wildbloodandqueenie who are known for bringing the energy, and local up and coming selector @chabala_dj who’s record collection is just on point and we cannot wait to have set the tone for this one.

Myself + fellow Voguesss mother @fancyshews will be playing B2B and we feel like it’s time to have a queer electroclash revival so we’re gonna do our first hour dedicated to the synth wielding mic distorted queens that raised us.

We’re so happy to say that thanks to the @artscouncilcollection + @badgeruk this is a FREE event and all you have to do to secure your place is sign up via the link. Community first always.

What an honour it was to play alongside the delightful @prosumerama last night. His set was a masterclass and I’m truly grateful to him for coming to play our town, and to the guy on the left here, @more_fountains, who made this night possible.

He’s the kind of person a promoter really should be. A proper music head with genuine deep knowledge, years of (continued) dancefloor experience, who books artists on their musical merit.

It’s honestly so refreshing and promising to see and I feel lucky to now call him my friend as well. He rarely gets a shout for all the hard work he puts in to putting on top class events in our little town that are on par with the vibe and musical quality found in the likes of Berlin, London, Amsterdam etc.. It feels amazing to be part of that and part of this amazing open-minded and mixbag community who regularly get together, which is almost impossible to foster in the big cities now.

Shouts to @t_0hm & @japhycouk for bringing in their soundsystem in too.

A reminder that this Friday we’re joined by one of the pillars of modern dance music! @prosumerama heads to Hastings to takeover @theprintworkshastings

Prosumer earned his stripes with his legendary residency at Berghain Panorama bar from 2004 onwards helping shape the sound of one of dance musics institutions. Technically one of the most gifted you’ll see and with a knowledge deeply imbedded in the roots of American dance music. Chicago, Detroit, New York, prosumer bosses them all.

I had the privilege of seeing him just this last weekend headline Optimos Watching Trees Festival. To look across at the hundreds of ravers lose their minds to his work and think this is coming to Hastings was something very special indeed! Towards the end he played Movin Like A Train, I used to go nuts to the this tune years ago and hadn’t heard it in so long, so many good memories!

@cococole comes again to prove yet again how skilled she is behind the decks. Years of experience in some of the biggest clubs alongside some of the best djs, means she doesn’t fuck about and knows exactly what needs doing. I’ve said it before, but we’re so lucky to have her here in Hastings!

It’s a magnetic pull I swear.

Really interesting and unique sounding one from the Italian producer Dukwa, who I knew had a certain something after hearing his release on Gudu. This one’s out on Pets Recordings, ran by the lovely and Catz N Dogz who also have a varied and expansive back catalogue.

Dukwa is not just gonna make the same thing that everyone else is just because it’s working in the clubs. He’s clearly a producer with a some serious skill but also, something which seems to be lacking certainly in the more crossover commercial sphere atm… creativity!

You never know what you’re gonna get with a Dukwa release, but you can guarantee it’s gonna slap.

Had to take a 2 month break from making music cause my brain was fried and I was beating myself up too much about it. I’ve also felt really disillusioned with the whole AI churning out a bunch of slop vibe. But also can’t just give up… especially when I’ve worked so hard on it all already..

I could really do with your help deciding which of my WIPs to focus on finishing!

Dunno but I just feel like people would be frothing at the mouth less if they got a bit more vitamin D and learnt to slow down and realise most of us are more alike than different and that being different isn’t necessarily a bad thing….

Stunning wee tune here from Manchester artist Ciggy De La Noche from 2018. There’s just something about his jazzy pad filled crispy house tunes that make it feel like summer. 8 years on and I still delight in playing this one.

Fans of Dam Swindle, Kerri Chandler, Moodymann, Felipe Gordon will like this guy. Have a rifle through his soundcloud, he’s somehow managed to make pretty decent track from sampling the HMRC hold music too 😅
