If you’re planning a solo trip to NYC to unwind but still want to be close to the action, @nolitanhotel is where you need to stay ❤️

I came in for the Jay-Z concert at Yankee Stadium and needed something quiet enough to recharge but close enough to the trains to get uptown fast. 5 min walk to Spring St station (6 train) and I was set.

Shareka gave me the warmest welcome at check in, room 905 was clean and peaceful, and that balcony was everything.

Only regret is not booking an extra night, already planning my next solo reset here before the year ends. Thank you Tamira, Isaac, and Jason for the hospitality 🧳

Jay-Z Extra Innings ✨

Just waking up because last night’s epic, star-studded finale which featured a nearly 50-song setlist, and wrapped at 3am.

It’s been so long since I stayed out all night and made it home right at sunrise.

S/o to one of my favorite rappers since I was a kid 💙 for putting on such an amazing show, and making sure everyone got in safe 🙏🏾

Asked @emmagrede a question in front of the whole @centerstageatl theater, and walked away with exactly what I needed to hear.

You do not have to choose between being a great mother and building the life you dream about.

She reminded me that ambition isn’t abandonment. That sometimes there are seasons where you over-index on work, but it doesn’t make you less present, less loving, or less worthy as a parent.

The biggest takeaway? Stop creating an “either/or” mindset. You are capable of both.

Create boundaries. Protect what’s sacred. And trust yourself enough to go after the life you already sacrificed so much to build ❤️
