The voters register still has me listed as unemployed. I giggled. Obviously not the case, but it keeps folks from knowing where I work if they don't already know. I will update it by the next election.

Anyway, I hope eligible electors(?) cast their ballot. I know it feels pointless for some, but still. Let your voice be heard. Your still have air to breathe. by @coconutsandcats

What a year. There is a lot I want to say, but I have uncertain words to convey it. However, i will try.

The good: finally got to Mexico. Lovely, expensive, but worth it. I am still working my way through the coffee and drinking chocolate. I really hope to go back before the impending doom hits. I also finally got to see my tribe. My NYC soul family, the folks that gave me room to be my best self. I cried seeing you guys. There is other good, but those 2 are the highlights.

The Bad. Honestly? Not worth talking about. When you are dealing with folks who are endlessly reminding you that they peaked in high school and are adults with power and responsibilities, acknowledging them will drive you nuts. I lack the patience. I no longer care. Go with love, and stay on your side of the boundary line. 2026 is the year of no more talking.

Final thoughts: i hope to just do better in 2026. I haven't been as kind to myself as i should. That HAS to change.
