Just two days left to see DIVINE COMEDY ✨

A little look back at Saturday night and the opening of Divine Comedy, a group exhibition curated by Helena Safari, bringing together the work of 12 artists here at Natasha Pearl Gallery.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening. It was such a wonderful evening, and we loved seeing the gallery so full of people enjoying the work.

And, of course, an enormous thank you to all 12 artists whose brilliant work has made this exhibition what it is, and to Helena for bringing it all together.

If you haven’t seen Divine Comedy yet, there are just two days left to visit.

The exhibition closes this Saturday, 10th October, so do come and see it while you can. There is a fantastic collection of work throughout the gallery, and it really is worth seeing in person.

Commission Work

His favorite color is blue-green.
He loves football, and “21” has been a meaningful number to him for many years, inspired by a football player he admires.

These were the small pieces of information I received.

I wanted the number 21 to exist quietly within the work — not something immediately visible, but something meaningful to the person it belongs to.

Blue-green emerges through layers of white, while threads and lines hold traces of his story.

Seeing his smile when I gave him the finished piece made me very happy. 🤍

Where Threads Cross I — 糸の交わるところ I

Fabric and thread.
Layered, concealed, with just a little left to remain.

Where different things cross,
a new form begins to emerge.

A cross can be a prayer, a boundary,
or a place where one person meets another.

Wrapped in fragments of an old kimono,
the memories held within quietly reveal themselves.

重ね、隠し、また少しだけ残す。

異なるものが交わる場所に、
新しいかたちが生まれていく。

十字は、祈りにも、境界にも、
そして誰かと誰かが出会う場所にも見える。

古い着物をまといながら、
