The kiddies LOVE their yearbooks! 😍

Although… the adults might love it more 🤐
—
Creating a yearbook for the first time from scratch, even with a lot of design experience, is not easy 🌱

Especially for a (stubborn) digital girlie (who does everything without guidance) learning print 🙂

But it’s so rewarding! ✨
And once you know what you’re doing, you can do it 10x over—do I smell a YEARBOOK COURSE coming on?
So you don’t have to spend hours on trial & error like I did? And you can learn my shortcuts to get it done in half the time that I did? I think so 🤓☝🏼

This is the perfect hybrid/make your own schedule/mostly work from home/extremely in-demand/high client return job for photographers 📸

I created a yearbook! 🌟 I’m so proud of it!

📸 Picture days completed
♻️ Makeup picture days covered
🎓 Cap & gown photos taken &
🏃 Events photographed
📲 I created digital folders for teacher photo submissions
👩🏽‍💻 Designed multiple yearbook themes for voting
📖 Fully designed the entire yearbook layout
❌ Navigated LOTS of trial and error learning print design (because I’m a digital girlie!)
📤 Prepped and submitted final files to @mixamprint &
📕 Received a beautiful finished product

The talk is that other schools are jealous 👀🫣
Don’t worry, I’ll be paying you a visit! 🫶🏼

I quit my job to become a full time entrepreneur but that transition has not come easy… I didn’t just adapt a perfect at-home schedule or a new work/life balance. But I’m working on it 🤗 I learned that I’m lazy and I’ll do nothing with my time if I let me 😂
—
It’s an abnormal month for my finances—no idea when I’ll get my last paycheck or my retirement funds, there’s multiple birthdays, this Drake concert is coming up, I’ve been injured & dealing with hormone issues, etc. But that’s life happening. I have NO complaints! It’s my job to navigate it until I’m back at equilibrium 🫶🏼 it’s my job to live

Done punching a clock! ✅
—
Last night I celebrated the milestone of leaving my job for full time entrepreneurship and I’m so grateful to my parents who afforded the opportunity, my coworkers and friends who encouraged and celebrated me, my principal who will continue to work with me through my business, and my clients who make making a living possible! 🥂

You can’t listen to anybody who...
#1 hasn’t done it 🙅🏻‍♀️
#2 isn’t doing it ✋🏼
#3 failed & quit 🤨

You already know exactly what those people will tell you 🚫
