Can't thank @googlephotos enough for sharing the memory when I forgot about it.
The video popped up from the memory when I least expected and this is the best mash up I could do with the inspiration behind my Oil Pastels drawing!

Surfing through Amazon books - came across this title: "The Wrong Daughter." That's all it took. They say don’t judge a book by its cover. I judged it by its name and I’m glad I did.
Five-star reviews sealed the deal.
Never knew I needed a thriller until #dandysmith 's genius consumed me and glued me to my #kindle.

I got lost in the twists of her world. This is the first time a book left such a vivid imprint on me — and I had to paint it. If you are into art, I bet you too wouldn’t resist translating one onto canvas.

Here I am presenting, an old English mansion with my bits like a quiet lake behind it.
A garden with a fountain in front — like a secret watching from behind its gate.

I’ve never been to Somerset. I don’t know if this place exists.
But now, it exists in my imagination — and in gouache.

I've now devoured all 4 of her books in 2 months…
And I feel compelled to bring more scenes to life.

Let me know if this makes justice to the Ledbury House from the book The Wrong Daughter !!

When greed is >>> need

Hopefully whenever I shall have an urge to buy a new art material, I will look at this piece and stop myself from adding it to my @amazondotin cart..

I gave my orders page from #amazonfinds a flowery touch to remind me what I already have is enough 🫠🫠

Prompt: art haul

No, I don't want magical potions with me.. I just need all the art materials in my little studio in the jungle.

Presenting episode 8 from my Fantasy World series: "art studio"...

I know, I know, I can never keep it clean and tidy ..but hey, we all doll up for posing infront of camera, don't we? So, yeah this is my all neat and clean art studio in the forest ;)

What if the "castle above the clouds" isn't a fairytale...
but every dream a woman has placed on hold for everyone else?

The book she'll write someday.
The trip she'll take someday.
The life she'll choose someday.

Maybe every woman secretly dreams of a place where nobody needs anything from her.

A place where, for once, she can choose herself.

🩷 Send this to a woman who's been carrying everyone else for too long.
