On this day, we celebrate 219 years since Haiti declared its independence from France. This occasion marked Haiti as the first black country to gain its independence in the world.

Let's march united this new year as we strengthen the Muzac region in Haiti--for our flag, our country, and our ancestors who paved the way.

Happy Independence Day, and Happy New Year!
