Earlier this year we partnered with @next_level_living__sa to provide Sonderend Primary School in Manenberg with reusable and disposable sanitary pads 💚

It’s not often we work in the Cape Flats. Thank you Next Level Living and Sonderend for the opportunity to expand our work and bring dignity to girls 🤲 by @coderedinitiative

At this point, it’s becoming a yearly tradition for this event to bring the rain with it…

But rain or not, we’ll be out there running, celebrating the women in our lives and the women who came before us who paved the way 💪.

❤️‍🔥 KOM RED RUN 3.0 💫

It’s our favourite time of year! We’re stoked to announce the third edition of our Kom Red Run in partnership with @komrunclub and @deepsouthtrail.

Each year we’ve raised funds that have helped support our mission to train seamstresses to produce reusable sanitary pads for our communities and create safe spaces for girls to learn and talk about sexual and reproductive health.

Join us this Women’s Day as we celebrate and honour the brave women, past and present, in our country and lives.

🗓️ Sunday, 9 August
📍Kom Surf Shop
⏰ 8AM for 8:30AM 👟 5km or 10km run/walk 💸 Participation is FREE, donations are encouraged (cash or card)
🏆 Donate on the morning and you’ll stand a chance to win prizes from insane local brands!

Last year we raised over R20k. All donations go towards producing reusable sanitary pads for menstruators in need. Let’s see if we can do it again! 👊

Hello friends, family and followers! 👋

We’ve been a little quiet lately, but we’re far from gone. Here’s a little update on what we’ve been up to.

We started the year celebrating our most impactful year yet in 2025. We’re incredibly grateful for everything we achieved, but as a small team balancing full-time jobs, life, and limited funding, sustaining that momentum isn’t always easy…

Earlier this year, we made the tough decision to pause our operations so we could focus on long term strategies. Over the past six months, we’ve been ideating, building partnerships, and applying for funding. It’s a slow, challenging process, but we’re hopeful that the right opportunities will come at the right time. ❤️🤲

While we’ve been working behind the scenes, our mission hasn’t changed! We’re still committed to creating a future where menstruators can manage their period with dignity.

Women’s Month is just around the corner and we’re excited to bring back one of our favourite annual events. 👀🏃‍♀️🩸
