Lindsey Isaacs was facing LIFE in prison after Police trusted Flock Camera instead of using their own eyes❗

Isaacs said troopers showed up at her door and told her that her car killed three people, even though she wasn’t near the scene and her car had no damage. The cars were not even the same color, the suspects vehicle was black and hers was burgundy.

“They said, ‘We have your plate on a Flock camera, and your car has damage consistent with a collision,'” Isaacs said. “And I said, ‘Where’s the damage? You’ve got the wrong person.'”

Her attorney, Patrick McGeehan, a former police detective, said the technology is outpacing regulation.

“We have a situation where the technology’s evolving faster than we can control it,” McGeehan said. “It’s the Wild West.”

Isaacs said she wants a law requiring human verification before an arrest is made based on a license plate reader.

“Someone needs to make sure that’s the correct vehicle, that’s the correct person, before just impounding a car,” she said.

Lindsey Isaacs describes her 13 days in jail as terrifying following her wrongful arrest after Flock Safety cameras placed her at the scene of a fatal car crash she had nothing to do with.
