2025 was an amazing year for us. We played our biggest shows to date, including playing @arctangentfestival, headlining Red Crust Festival, a packed out headline show in London during our Autumn tour, and loads of other great shows and festivals playing with some bands that we never thought we’d get to. Our little weird music scene is in rude health, and there are so many amazing bands, promoters, and artists in the UK underground - you know who you are, and we love you for what you do.

It is not lost on us how lucky we are to be able to do this and that we see so many of you coming to shows again and again. Can’t wait to see you all on the road this year.

We’ve some very exciting things in store for 2026 including some stuff coming up very soon and tour announcements for later in the year; we’re also starting to get our heads down on album #3.

Solidarity to everyone struggling to make it through the increasing madness of the world. Free Palestine.

(Hat tips to @purdie.riff.underground, @chaostheorymusic and @alanswanphotography for visuals!)

Our first announced show of 2027 is the inaugural The Woods fest in the Lake District, playing for our good friends in the @road_to_masochist promo/label collective and with loads of excellent bands.

The most beautiful countryside and the most appalling noise. Wonderful. Tickets and link in the RTM bio.

See you there. by @codespeaker

It's been a pretty long while since we've actually toured Scotland - so we're remedying that with a run this November with our good friends in @aslivingarrows and @wearepalejoy , along with some folk we've wanted to play with for a long time but haven't yet (especially the amazing @mrsfrighthouse in Glasgow, and @kakiharaband who we have somehow never managed to play a hometown show together with.)

With big thanks to @pfcpromotions for putting this all together.

Art by the wonderful @fsr_fsr_fsr / @miscprintstudio. No AI used, for anything, ever.

See you there.

@codespeaker describe themselves as 'bruising', and that's worth a second pass. Do they mean visceral and aggro, or sore and tender? I'm inclined to think both.

Their post-metal speaks pain austere and clear, trudging and writhing into late sunsets and infinite collapse. Respect to them coming from Scotland too, that's a long drive.

GET TO KNOW @codespeaker
Hailing from Scotland’s capital, Codespeaker will be making their Leicester debut at Crowded Festival 🙏🙏

They’ve crafted a bruising sound where they are seen combining elements of post metal and sludge to create an atmosphere that is truly unnerving.

Don’t miss them along with so many other sick bands for the fourth edition of Crowded Festival on the 3rd October, grab your tickets now!
