A few things about me:
✍️ Writer, editor, and book coach — I help people shape their stories (and actually finish them)
📚 Books are a huge part of my world — I’m always reading and always sharing

📝 We created The Authentic Guide to Copywriting to help people write in their own voice (and make some extra cash doing it)
🤝 I also create UGC and lifestyle content for brands when it’s a good fit

One reason I never got a degree in English or Creative Writing was because I knew I was going to write anyway and didn’t feel like I needed one. But honestly the other reason was fear. I was scared that so much feedback and criticism would beat the passion right out of me and I would lose my voice.

What I did believe was that in order to be a great writer, I needed to see more of the world first. So, I got my degree in travel and tourism as a backup plan, lived abroad for years, and literally circled the world on a ship. I lived so much life and have zero regrets about any of it.

I ended up building a technical writing company with my wife, and then sold it to our head writer a few years later. Now I write books, copy for small businesses, articles for local magazines, and make fun social media content.

I still have more goals, more things I want to publish, more stories to tell.

But if you want to be a writer, all you need to do is start writing. I literally do it from my couch with my laptop in my lap. Not ergonomically great but it works.

Just started Midnight Curfew by Penelope Douglas, her newest release, and let’s just say…how many times did I have to strategically cover the page because I was sitting next to fellow travelers while reading this spicy MM romance? 👀
