Dad,

Where do I even begin. I never imagined anything like this would ever happen. You were the strongest man I’ve ever met. The one who taught me to clean fish, ride horse, gut a deer but mostly how to be a man. I shot my first deer and caught my first fish right by your side, you were one proud father. You loved your boys more than anything in this whole world, and you always made sure that we knew that. You were the best father I could have ever asked for, and I can’t believe that I’ll never get to see you again, or hear an I love you code.

As for you spiderman, I love you kolt. I’ll never forget the times the second I would walk through the door I would hear “come get me” and hear your little feet sprint down the hall. We used to play fight and you would shoot your little spider webs at me and I’d always pretend like I was stuck. I hope you’re swinging from skyscrapers up there buddy.

There are things in life I will never understand, and this is one of them. And undoubtedly the lowest part of my life. I wish you would have reached out dad, I’d do anything in the world to be there to change your mind.

I’m no therapist, but i will do anything in my power to make sure no one has to go through anything like this. I will gladly sit and talk with anyone struggling. Mental health is not a joke.
