Not enough words could describe what an incredible trip this was. To share a love of travel, gastronomy, and each others company is a joy and a pleasure. I am so grateful that I got to experience this with some of my best friends and my mom of course! I love you all so much and it was wonderful to meet every person along the way!! “There are places in the world that don’t just welcome you, they embrace you. Cortona is one of those places. Perched high above the Val di Chiana, it feels like a town that floats somewhere between the earth and sky. Arriving sunday of last week we started our journey with aperitivo and exploration of our new home for the week with a local we soon would cherish and celebrate. Following that, we were welcomed with a wonderful dinner with wine and small plates. Banter with our new travel companions that would soon turn to friends, echoing through the halls of Villa Marsili. From the first day I knew we were in for an adventure, and that it was! Our week in Tuscany was nothing short of magical. Each day offered a deeper connection to the land, its people, and its traditions. We built meaningful relationships with everyone from pizza makers to Michelin-starred chefs, each one eager to share their craft and their stories. We spent time with local artisans, renowned Brunello winemakers, and even truffle hunters who showed us the beauty of simplicity, patience, and preservation. Beyond the food and wine, we explored Tuscany’s rich history walking through centuries old cathedrals and museums, even discovering the charm of Cortona’s medieval festival, and feeling the heartbeat of a region where the past and present live side by side. It was a week filled with flavor, tradition, and unforgettable moments.Life here moves slower, but richer. Meals are longer, flavors are deeper, and moments are more meaningful. Tuscany doesn’t just leave a mark on us it changes our outlook on life. It reminds us breathe, to savor, to live. And once you’ve been here, a part of your heart stays behind, nestled among the olive groves and stone walls, waiting for you to return. Grazie Cortona for allowing us to embrace your soulful city. Grazie Tuscany for providing us your rich culture and history. Grazie Marina of Villa Marsili for your everlasting hospitality and warmth. I will cherish these memories forever. Ciao ciao. Every word has been said to describe what an amazing weekend this was. I am so grateful that I was able to celebrate my birthday this weekend with my friends. Dave Tipper is truely a mastermind and a genius. Along with all the VJs that are absolutely insane with the art they create. The entire production blew any other show I’ve ever been to OUT OF THE FUCKING WATER! I have no words to describe how much this weekend was for the body soul and mind.
