Another month of music on deck for October, and this time I’m excited to shake things up a bit!!! This month I’ll be doing the first gig with my new band, @audioblackmusic !! We’ve been working hard to put together a monster setlist full of Hard Rock/Alternative favorites, and we can’t wait to let it loose on 10/16 for the first time… look forward to seeing everyone out there as the weather cools down. 🤘🏼 by @codycriswell

Here’s a little fusion for ya. This section of @archechoband’s “Bet Your Life” inspired me the first time I heard it and I had to figure it how to play it. If I could describe this band in one word it would colorful. I love the different chord progressions and key selections they use, and alot of it reminds me of video game music from back in the day. I mean who doesn’t wanna slay dragons and hear smooth guitar solos?! Lol Also tried some different camera angles this time to spice things up a bit. I’m sure the algorithms probably won’t show this to anyone, so please react and share if you dig!

Gear I used:

The junction between speed and flavor… @jakeperiphery hitting me in the feels with yet another amazing guitar solo in the @periphery discography. This is one of my favorite sections from their newest album, and one of the more difficult solos I’ve attempted to play. Those dudes just absolutely kill it.

If you wanna learn how to shred, shoot me a DM…

Man, what a way to kick things off! Last night was our first @audioblackmusic show and we had to kick off #BiketoberFest the right way. I can’t stress enough how hard the guys and I have worked to put this show together, and last night we finally got to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Special thanks to all of the family and friends that came out to support us and enjoy the show. You guys welcomed us in style and we’re so grateful for everyone that came out. Also a special thanks to @thedakotahurley for steering the ship out front and making us sound good. Looking forward to doing more and bringing the Rock to the Space Coast area, so keep your eyes peeled for more show announcements… by @codycriswell

When: Friday, October 16th / 6pm-10pm
Where: Tortuga’s / Flagler Beach

Another weekend in the 518, hashing out songs and having fun with the guys. In my 20 years of playing guitar I’ve never seen someone break 2 strings with one strum, but it happened yesterday. I took photo evidence to prove it. Lol Looking forward to our first @audioblackmusic gig Friday night! Only 1 date this month, but stay tuned for more announcements. by @codycriswell
