One of our absolute favorite coffee spots in downtown Edmonds is always worth the visit @stillhouse.coffee - especially for their strawberry matcha, which is hands down the best we’ve had. Fresh, perfectly balanced, and the ultimate summer sip. 🌸

The cozy, calming vibe, beautiful seating, and charming views overlooking Main Street make it the perfect place to slow down for a while. Grab your favorite drink, take a leisurely stroll down to the waterfront, and soak in everything that makes Edmonds so special.

Meet @barleonehk — opened by the legendary Lorenzo Antinori, and honestly… this place is pure magic. Ranked No 1 in the world by @50bestbars

From the moment you step in, it feels like you’ve been transported to Trastevere — cozy, loud (in the best way), full of life, and zero pretentious vibes ❤️🇮🇹

🍑 The Bellini? Reimagined like the original at Harry’s Bar in Venice
🥃 The cocktails? Classic. Clean. Perfectly balanced.
🥪 The mortadella sandwich? I’m still thinking about it.
🧀 The chips with Smokey Mascarpone dip 🤌🏽

No flashy gadgets. No gimmicks. Just pure craftsmanship, history, humour, and heart. Every drink tells a story, and every guest feels like a regular.

A perfect morning wandering down Main Street in Edmonds 🌊✨ We’ve been here so many times, but today we finally discovered all the cutest little shops and cafés!

Started strong with our forever favorite — Crumpets 🫶 So excited that @thecrumpetshop_ is now in Edmonds (no more downtown Seattle trips needed 😍), and it’s in the sweetest little area with great food and coffee spots.

Then came the window shopping 🛍️ Loved Alexander’s Bead Bazaar @alexandersbeadbazaar and their incredible collection of antiques from around the world. I picked up a couple of their 50 cent charms too!

And the highlight? Stumbling into The Fox + Bottle @thefoxandbottle 🍷🤍 Such a beautiful store filled with local goods, stationery, jewelry, and wines — we couldn’t resist a little tasting and definitely left with a couple of bottles 😂 The owner was so kind and helped us pick amazing wines from New Zealand and the south of France.

We also spotted a tiki bar, Italian restaurant, cozy theater 🎭, bookshops, art studios, art stores, and even a pottery spot (Glazed and Amazed!)— basically endless date night ideas 💕

Safe to say, we’re officially in love with Main Street Edmonds @exploreedmondswa @edmondsdowntown and can’t wait to be back. I’ll tag all the places below ✨

One of our absolute favorite stops in Amman was Shams El Balad—Nestled in the heart of Jabal Amman, this spot has been officially crowned The Best Restaurant in Jordan 2025 and ranked #8 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants @theworlds50best

@shamselbalad specializes in seasonal, farm-to-table Jordanian dishes, celebrating local farmers and ingredients. Think vibrant mezze, fresh-baked bread, wholesome plates, and flavors that feel both traditional and modern—everything tastes like it was made with real love. The pomegranate juice was one of the best treats after a warm day and they had several vegetarian options to choose from as well!

And don’t miss the store right out front. Before or after your meal, you can browse an incredible collection of souvenirs, home goods, ceramics, textiles, and pantry items made by local Jordanian artists and producers.

We made it to Abou Tarek in downtown Cairo — and wow, what a vibe. 😍 This isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a four-story koshary empire built on history.

Legend has it, Koshary Abo Tarek (Youssef Zaki) started with a humble street cart in the 1950s, pushing koshary through the bustling streets of downtown until he saved up enough to open a shop right where he began. Today, his namesake spot still towers on the corner of Champollion & Maarouf Street, in the heart of the old city.

What you must order: their signature koshary — a dreamy mountain of rice, lentils, pasta, chickpeas, drizzled with tomato and garlic sauce, and topped with ultra-crispy onions. Naturally vegetarian (and even vegan-friendly), this classic Egyptian comfort food will make you wonder why you ever ate anything else.

To visit:
• Head to their downtown branch (the most iconic) on Champollion Rd / Maarouf St.
• Open daily from around 7am to midnight, so it’s perfect for a late-night koshary run.
• It’s super local and laid-back — expect a cafeteria-style, no-frills space with lots of stairs (that four-story building isn’t just for show).

Pro tip: Go when you’re the hungriest. The portions are huge, the flavors are bold, and the onion crunch is next level.

An unforgettable Cactus & Curry lunch 🌵🍛✨ Huge thanks to our amazing friends @foodwithoutthought for hosting and cooking up a feast — every dish was made from scratch and absolutely divine!

From the refreshing Watermelon Breeze 🍉🥤 to the creative Paneer Tacos, the silky Velvet Verde Broccoli Soup, and those heavenly desserts (Saffron-Vanilla Panna Cotta with Mango Purée + Dark Chocolate-Dipped Stuffed Dates 😍🍫) — every bite was perfection.
